You know whats crazy a lot of these guys had full time jobs outside of footy. But if this team was playing today they wouldn't have been able to keep them under the cap, So many great players in this side.
There was a level of committment by the players that made you want to watch these games. It meant something to them and besides .. is there anything better than watching a game in the sunshine. Less dew .. players are up for it .. anyone remember the last time nth queensland played on a sunny afternoon?
Even though I’m Saints fan, I admired the great Parramatta side of the 1980’s, they were a great team.

That last 2-3 secs with Sterling and Kenny head down walking back together. There is a deep connection between those two, togetherness.. common cause.
