If you like the story, roleplay, and characters, but end up in a group that focuses mostly on mechanics and combat, you won't have fun. But if you find a group -- and a DM -- that's also into the roleplay, you can tell some *amazing* stories.
I’ve never been into DND or watched anything relating to it but this is legit my favorite thing y’all are putting out rn everyone is so great with improvising and the roles they play it’s hilarious and engaging the only downside is I have to wait two weeks for the next one lmao

I love this, my only problem is the episodes are only one hour biweekly. I know they have a lot of other content being made, and I watch it all, but this is my new favorite Smosh thing.

MAD respect for Damien throughout all of this, but one callout -- when Chanse said "We are not trespassers, we've been greeted by the Greeter of Gates, Rompom." -- that's a persuasion role if ever there should have been one. Distraction or SOMETHING as a result of that insanely clever reaction appealing to their societal rules.

When Damien was describing Garland walking up to the group slowly, all I could think about was that scene in Ocarina of Time where you have to wait 200 years for King Zora to slide over.

Been a DM for 15 years and I still adore Festival scenes lol it's so nice to let players feel out their characters.
0:54 the editing is so much better than the first episode! I really love being able to see the characters and npc’s with vivid descriptions of what they’re wearing. This is so much fun I love everyone playing!!!!
