Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is an immersive theme park land based on the Star Wars franchise, located in Disneyland Park at Disneyland. It opened to the public on May 31, 2019. The land is also replicated in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, which opened on August 29, 2019.
The immersive experience extends beyond the attractions and establishments. The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is an attraction that puts guests in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, where they can serve as either a pilot, gunner, or engineer on a daring smuggling mission. The success or failure of the mission depends on the teamwork and performance of the guests. Dok-Ondar, a renowned Ithorian collector and trader, is the proprietor of this establishment. The store is designed to resemble a cluttered and eclectic den filled with an extensive collection of rare and exotic items from the Star Wars universe including prop replicas, Jedi and Sith Holocrons, character merchandise, and Star Wars artifacts.
In addition to the attractions, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge offers various dining and shopping experiences. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a quick-service restaurant offering a variety of galactic-inspired dishes. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is an epic attraction, multi-part experience that puts guests in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order. It combines a thrilling trackless dark ride with immersive sets and cutting-edge technology to create a truly immersive experience.
The Black Spire Outpost is home to various stores throughout the land offering Star Wars-themed apparel, toys, collectibles, and more. Droid Depot is another workshop that allows guests to build their own droids by selecting parts and assembling them, creating a customized companion to take home.
