- In today's vlog we head to Disneyland for the media preview of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Thank you to Disney for inviting us to the event. We start the day by checking out the Star Wars offerings around the rest of the park before heading into the new land. We rode Star Tours and looked at the merch in Tomorrowland. Then our time came to go into Galaxy's Edge! We toured the land, tried lots of space food and drink, built a droid, piloted the Millennium Falcon, saw Star Wars characters and more! The level of themeing in the 14 acre land was really impressive. You definitely don't feel like you're inside a Disneyland park. The food was interesting and so were the drinks. The droid building experience was very cool and I can't wait to buy one when the Orlando park opens. I could've spent all day in the area and not seen everything. What did you think? This was the best Galaxy’s Edge vlog. I think most Disney vloggers are trying to review everything and get information to pass off to their viewers, and that’s great but also very frenetic. It’s nice to just experience the land with you. We get good information, but in a much more calm and joyful way.
Agreed, atmosphere is more important than details.
That’s exactly why I love his videos. I don’t know any other Disney reviewers because I don’t want to. Don’t fix what isn’t broken 🤷♀️

The audio effects in the land are insane as well. Ships are constantly taking off over head and pan from side to side. You instinctively look skyward, but they're behind a building or already past you. Great effect!!

I love how immersive it is. My 5yr old is loving all the videos of “Star Wars Land”!! He watched most of the dedication ceremony. He loved Chewie in the Millennium Falcon.
10:41 the guy in the line pointing up at the ceiling is Ben Schwartz who happens to be the voice playing over the speaker talking about the "bad news". Weird coincidence
"Rey's lightsaber" was Anakin's first Kenobi took it from him when he became Vader. Kenobi then gave it to Luke who then lost it with his hand in The Empire Strikes Back. Luke builds a new one. somehow Anakin/Luke's saber ends up with Maz Kanata who gave it to Rey.

That droid depot is probably the most tempting.
I was hoping for a celebrity to say, “And now it’s time to pay the price,” but a shoutout from my home state feels just as great!
The "trashcan" droid is a fun Easter egg - especially when you know what the props department used to build R2D2 for A New Hope.

THANKS TRACKERS! I work in television and after watching multiple UA-cam videos of Galaxy’s Edge, this is definitely the one that I recommend. Jenn’s editing doesn’t waste our time. And Tim’s narration explains succinctly what’s happening.

The hotel is Florida but there is another ride planned to open late this year and that's it
You're right. It's literally one ride and a bunch of stores and a bar. Once rise of the resistance come out, there will be just two rides. It's the exact same thing with Avatar. Just two rides. Nothing else to do

I heard there will be two additional rides coming. One at the end of the Summer I think. I don’t know when the third one will be. I’m sure they’ll be making changes over time as well. They’ve done that with most of the lands. Although they haven’t touched Tomorrowland in over ten years and that land needs desperate help. It used to be much better in the 90’s.
