Richard Elliot has always been one of my all time favorite smooth jazz artist. I really dig that cut givin' it up and how it breaks into that smooth but alittle edgy randition of California.
Recording quality is superb! Love elliot and the band. Great drummer and bass!! Need more of this good quality live recoding of smooth jazz!! Euge groove please come up with live studio recording!!

His timing on solos and melody interpretations is the best out of the smooth jazz cats imo. The EWI/vocal thing at the end, while a bit out of place, is still pretty cool.

Seth G look at 3:22 to 3:26 of this video. Looks very clear as a Yamaha Custom Z, tenor. I know he usually plays a SaxDakota, but the bell marks don't show that here. I looked at the SaxDakota website & their bell markings are not like this. Could this be a new model?
