    Thanks! Could you possibly recommend any books on philosophy also? I'm merely a layman on the subject and finding it hard to grasp the basics. I know I might be coming across as an imbecile, but i'd appreciate it if you had any ideas. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    It's not luck Akala. You're wrong there. The reason some make it and some don't, is because the some that make it, develop certain attributes and abilities, that allow them to have greater influence over others, and change their circumstances. Don't label it as blind luck, or chance.
