About the crayfish: before you cook them they need to be "châtrées" (not too sure what this is called in English) : while holding it with a towel, at the "fan" at the end of the tail, grab the middle scale, give it a quarter turn left and then right, then pull it out. That will get the intestine out at the same time. Then then you can rub the "slime" with the towel (it will be pretty cooperative after being châtrée). Then cook it as you like.
@@NWFishingSecrets It's been a while, but just in case you're still interested in preparing crawfish, the technique is demonstrated in the video below (it's in French but it shouldn't matter. The "action" starts at 1:00) ua-cam.com/video/ABJ6McCgeBQ/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

It is absolutely worth a try 🎣🤙 I believe they have a website: www.laesoesalt.com/en/
Will they actually ship this salt to washington? I put it in my cart.
Maybe hmm maybe I will be a fisherman when I grow up
@@brianjanku4549 Funny how I can buy it in most supermarkets for a fraction of the price xD
Thanks I’ll look into this
This is no way to cook a "mudbug."
How would you like it to be killed that way? That’s not quick in any kind of way. That’s damn barbarism!
@@NWFishingSecrets It's been a while, but just in case you're still interested in preparing crawfish, the technique is demonstrated in the video below (it's in French but it shouldn't matter. The "action" starts at 1:00)
