What I've understood from my experience as a Capricorn ASC so far.
Life pushes you so low you're high or pushes you so high you're low.
Highest of the low, lowest of the high.
It can entail a unique, self-fashioned highness in what the world around you typically considers low.
Or can entail a unique self-fashioned lowness in what the world around you typically considers high.
It's very up and down, until you reach just the right summit. But then all you can do is watch and marvel at the things/beings you care about not be with them.
With this ascendant, I've discovered you either find yourself in a place in life where you're at a high point, things are good and you have a nice 'view' of the things/beings you love but cannot be with them unless you leave your summit.
You can also be with the things/beings you love but instead its looking longingly up at the summit you want to be atop of to 'better view' them and be 'better viewed', believing it'll enhance things.
Having both a good view of the things/beings you love and being with them, is incredibly difficult.
Capricorn ascendants are inclined to be in a place where they can admire their view while being with what or who they love, but its hard because those main things are often not in the same place at the same time.
Just like how success at work can easily conflict with happy relationships and personal happiness. The perspective from a point of success can alter love and happiness, and these things can also alter perspective. It a never ending battle.
So getting to a summit in life, could bestow more clarity on your view about the ones and things you love, and vice versa which leads to painful losses or happy but soul-tearing gains, gains that come with more tug of war with yourself between personal happiness and material happiness.
You have absolutely nailed it I’m Capricorn, sun and moon, Leo rising, thank goodness I think that’s where I get a little glimmer of less responsibility and heaviness

What thing I hate most about me being a Capricorn Rising is that I approach things with a lot efforts and seriously that can be done very easily. Which results in laziness and procrastination in me 🥲.

This actually gave me a good understanding of how others perceive me. I now see why they are, the way they are, with me.
I appreciate the nuance given by you and in this text regarding Capricorn. People often modernly get all earth signs wrong capricorn especially.
As a Capricorn ascendant too, I can confirm many of these things. I think the need to be “seen as doing right” is a really good point because it can distract and even stifle the goals.
I think how shameless can also show up is in acceptance: we don’t find peoples bodies, natural functions, etc to be “gross!”. And even if they themselves aren’t stereotypically shameless (I’m conservative in my behavior) I think it still creeps out in other ways too. For example, people feel ashamed to ask questions or admit a type of ignorance. I’m one of the few people I know that are unashamed to say I don’t know and ask a question very bluntly and openly. It’s almost transgressive to others.
On another note, the bit about attraction and age and how it can manifest is something new to me. And it’s odd that modern astrology says Capricorn women date younger men (presumably misinterpreting moon as 7th lord) when on the female side, myself and other Capricorn ascendant women I personally know typically don’t even get interested in anyone who isn’t at least around a decade older than us with those bumps/bruises you mentioned.
I would prefer an older man and I'm a single 32 capricorn rising. With a stellium of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune and my sun, mercury, venus and pluto are in the house of Capricorn. But that's in western idk if you'd disagree and consider me in the vedic instead but I Def believe I have a lot Capricorn traits.

I was raised by a Capricorn & Scorpio, lots and lots of close Capricorn friends & family parent, grandparent, child, & Capricorn moon myself. I love Capricorns, suns, moons & risings. This is one of the best explanations I’ve heard.
The heaviness is describing Tamas - inertia, craving, greed, dullness, solidness, reliability etc.

For a long time I have been curious about the association between Capricorn and crocodiles.
I think I was perusing through a Madame Blavatsky book when I first saw this connection stated.
This was decades ago and the reason I became so curious about this connection is that I was already a lover/student of Astrology and, also, as a girl, I had had weird, recurring dreams about crocodiles. (Well, sometimes it was crocodiles, sometimes it was snakes).
In the recurring dreams I would be walking outside and then I would begin to see snakes or crocodiles on the ground all around me. The dream sequence is that I would be walking outside, on the grass, and I would see one (crocodile or snake), then I would look around and see another... and another and another ... until I realized they were absolutely everywhere... they seemed to make up the very ground itself.
My most interesting "dreams" were of me walking outside and wandering up to a tree that was covered or guarded by 3 human-size, upright snakes. They saw me approaching and they didn't like seeing a human approach them. I knew they could kill me in an instant. But they didn't. Their very quiet hiss snake sounds were like the sounds of roaring lions. It's as though everything, the whole atmosphere, was buzzing, quite loudly. And it might sound crazy but I hope I see them again.
Anyway, I feel like all of this is related somehow. I have Saturn in the 8th house, in Aquarius, and a close stellium of Sun-Pluto-Venus in Virgo. I feel like it's all related.
I was watching the Saturn video and the plabet actually makes diamonds! It is a very unique and mysterious planet. As i age, I appreciate it.
im an aquarius rising in tropical but i was curious about siderreal and looked up my chart and im a cap rising so i'm like what does that mean? you say we never say bye which i think is funny. i had remember saying bye to a coworker after working with her for months and she was like "you've never said bye to me before" but like! i didn't see her on my way out usually! and at my other job i was hosting and no one would come up to me at the host stand to say hi or bye so i would leave without going out of my way to say hi or bye to them either and they'd get offended like?? who cares like i get on some level we could d1e any day and we never know when the last time we see someone will be the last but i don't think saying "hi" and "bye" every time we work together is going to change that lol

In my (purely subjective) observations, over the decades, it has seemed to me that Capricorn Suns can certainly be the most hyper-sexed and "randy" of all the signs. It's also been my observation that, in most cases, the Rising-Sign persons express the sign in a higher, more sophisticated way than the Sun-Sign persons do.

It's Mars Saturn Venus Sun interplay of elemental cardinalities playing to and fro upon the Earth.
As a Cap Moon-Rising I can be sharp enough to be endlessly and logically fatalizing, or just technically precise, or accurately sweet, so on... 'Sharp' might be a if not the word for Capricorn.
Edit: 'the Devil's in the details' - might be a common phrase that illustrates that, and Capricorn rather clearly.
Edit: in tarot - The Devil card is the card of Capricorn, it's depiction mostly attributed to the God/demon Bael with his anamorphic dualities and man and woman in chains he holds in bondage. Whether Bael stems from Pan I don't know/recall - but Capricorn through mythology is whom both are specifically associated to. Often both are attributed to be the devil or devilish or demonic, often unfoundedly. Pan defeated the monster that conquered Zeus, and then freed Zeus who went back and destroyed the Hydra monster to free all the God's thanks solely to Pan's cunning.. The monster caused Aphrodite and Eros to jump into the river and become two fish attached by a string, Pisces, and Pan followed along becoming a mer-goat to flee after the monster first came and defeated Zeus. Cunning, wit, retribution are reasons Cap might be associated to the devil - but to me it's really more you get what you give, and I think that's what Baels chains express, and what Caps know best. The 10th house from Cap is Libra after all. I think Capricorn's truly show all how to think with their minds - whichever way they choose - but to think.

sharp is really a mars trait, however. you must have something going on with Mars if you are really sharp.
@@VicDiCaraAstrology I do actually, Mars/Rahu/Vertex all in Leo w Mars 29° atmakaraka - I def feel the influence on my cap moon from that, but it feels extraordinarily natural and fitting. Also though, too powerful - it's annoying - a large part of my mind just wishes for a simple happiness, not the understanding of the power within/beneath everything.

not to be rude or anything but Translating Sanskrit to English is bad bad practice.. The entire meaning is butchered well most of it.. The British did this to Indic texts and introduced many irregularities and foreign concepts which do not exist in the original text. For example @ 3:50, Aalasa = Aalas = does actually means "Lazyness" and NOT heavy.. yes you can say the one who is heavy is aalsi or lazy but that is not the meaning..
one needs to become familiar with the nuances. Because you do not have shraddha in my sanskrit knowledge, you resist accepting my evaluation of the words, like aalasa. This is intelligent on your part. But I think if you investigate me more thoroughly you would develop more shraddha for what I say about linguistics and sanskrit. However that is entirely up to you, and I do not mind if you feel otherwise.
i have a strange (kind of painful) love story with Capricorns (or saturnian energy in general...): most of the people i love or i have falling for were Capricorns and Aquarians... and being born in the winter solstice most of my life i thought i was a Capricorn sun myself till i did my first chart around my 40s... when i discovered i was Sagittarius sun i thought: oh! i finally can be happy now🪁🥳🤸... but somehow i am always sure to surround myself with some Capricorn to drag me down🤣just kidding... i find Capricorns so intriguing and alluring as a black hole...❤🔥😻💘🪐
