Roland gave me hope. He gave off just the best vibes, like a loving wise grandfather. Let us all carry the torch and passion he lived with regarding psychedelics and happiness.

Incredibly beautiful mind & soul, may he rest in peace. Cannot thank him enough for his invaluable contributions to psychedelic research and his ceaseless efforts to fight deep-rooted prejudices and enlighten the public about entheogens.

I am crushed this guy is gone. It’s almost too early to recognize what a giant benevolent force he was and still is.

The poise and equanimity with which Dr Griffiths presented himself and discussed his death in the months immediately beforehand in the full knowledge of it's imminent arrival, speak volumes to what an amazing human he was.
I wonder how much his long-standing meditation practice and psychedelic experience, and experience working with psychedelics with others contributed to this wonderful mindset.
I admire many musicians, actors etc. But Roland Griffiths is among a small number of scientists helping to move psychedelics towards accepted therapeutic status, whom I consider a Hero of mine.
Rest in Peace, and my condolences as always to your Family and Friends.
    Thank you Roland.

R.I.P. Dr. Roland Griffiths. His death is a huge loss to the scientific community. This man deserves a Nobel prize.

He sure does, as does Rick Doblin, RCH and David Nutt.

I can't help but wonder what effect these kinds of experiences would have on the blatantly angry, cultish-minded and world-view stunted people like Marjorie Taylor Green or the ego-mad ex-president? Would there be a change for the better toward a more balanced, decent, less- prejudiced and more loving way of being?

Seems psychedelics without some kind of grounding framework and mindfulness skill are a wildcard - it might only exacerbate wild beliefs as opposed to counter them
