I bet that is aggrevating. Sorry about that. Ive tried both earbuds and corded headphones and seem to get sound from both sides but the left does seem to be a little louder. But I will pay closer attention next time. Thanks for pointing it out and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Yeah....not sure what happened there. Mistakes were made but I learned from it. Thanks for the support and taking the time to watch and comment! Much appreciated!
I really don't have much of an opinion on it other than what I've seen here on UA-cam. From what I here the battery life can be a bit tough. I know the R5 is a fantastic camera and I can only imagine that the cinema spec is just as great. It's also on the approved camera list for Netflix. That has to count for something. As far as lenses go. Of the ones I own and use, the 24-105mm is probably my most versatile. If I'm going in to blind to a location I will for sure take this one. But most of what I use is adapted older EF glass without any issues.
Can you initiate recording through the transmitter? By this I mean: If I have a recording monitor attached to certain cameras via hdmi, I can tap record on the monitor and it will start recording both on the monitor and in camera. Does the wireless setup work with that functionality?
No, sorry. I don't believe that it does. Though it would be an awesome feature. I imagine that some of the higher priced transmitters do, this one in particular is pretty bare bones. Performance is great but feature packed it is not. But they had to keep the price down some how. Still a very good system for the money. Also, thanks for your time watching and commenting! 👍 I really appreciate it!
very nice review. I have been looking at maybe adding something like this to my gear as a small independent filmmaker, but the prices on some of them are ridiculous for us amateurs. This looks really interesting. Does the latency on it become a issue at all for monitoring or is it just something you get used to over time?
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. It is for sure worth having in your kit. I can name several things I've spent way more that have gone to waste but this is one thing I've found to be quite useful. As long as you are within a reasonable range and not trying to push it to its limits then the latency really isn't an issue. I mean, I would go trying to game on it or anything but for monitoring it's fine. Thanks again for your time and support. I hope this helps
There is USB-C on both the reciever and transmitter. No micro usb on either one of the copies that I have. I have also powered them both via battery bank with a C to C cable. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 😊
@@Donny_B My bad 😥 I was watching on the tv it looked smaller. I rewatched that part on a tablet. You’re correct ✅. Very embarrassing on my part. I got something similar it connects to Wi-Fi and beams the camera feed remotely to a tablet on an app. It’s called Accsoon SEE.

I would like your opinion on the canon r5c cinematic camera. Which lenses would you recommend.

@@Donny_B thank you. I appreciate the response.
@cioccolata12 it's literally why I do this. Glad I could help!
@@Donny_B Do you think a person could hook this up to an iPad to use as an external directors monitor?
Nice!
