      I couldn't agree more, video is to fast to see how to remove let alone replace it, not my forte, so off to a shop to have it done properly! Oh well, so much for doing it myself at the risk of not having a working phone in the end.

    My Samsung Note 9 has deep cracks and a big black spot toward the bottom of the left side of the screen cuz I lifted heavy furniture on it by accident. Did the black mean is not fixable? The whole screen still works even on the black spot I just can't see the screen there and the screen flashes every once in a while. Thank you for your advice in advance!

Need to see if getting mine replaced and giving it to my sister in law, she can't afford a newer style phone so I thought it would be a nice gift if it didn't almost cost like a new phone lol thanks, any information would be helpful.

    Great video! I'm just curious have you ever come across a note 9 with just one piece of damage near the centre of the screen but actually a dent on the right edge that has caused the touch not work anywhere above the damage but it works with the pen? Do you think that its caused glass separation above the damaged area or do you think that the actual screen is damaged?

    • @MrPhoneDoctor
      @MrPhoneDoctor  4 роки тому +2

      Yes more than likely digitizer has gone out in that area. Only way to fix is to replace entire display. We plenty of note 9 displays in stock feel free contact us www.mrphonedoctor.com

      @@MrPhoneDoctor okay thanks. it doesn't seem like an easy task. mainly because the screen can get damaged or worse when applying heat.. i think i'll do something like standing on a chair to create more distance between the phone and the blow dryer or i could safely put the phone inside a cardboad box and then blow into it from a good distance, that way i make a sauna lol. but that way the heat wont be too intense etc.

      The glue is OCA so within time the bubbles end up leveling out on the screen. Not sure how exactly they end up pressing out but they do perfectly:)

    1- I recommend to not put the autoclave machine on the table. There is a story that a person died because the door blowed out.
    2- if you want to save sometime for bubble free. There are 2 ways to save you sometime. Slightly press On the bubble area. It will be smaller and smaller.
    Or you just need to increase your vacuum time. The more vacuum time , less bubble you might have at the end.

    Does waterproof works after doing this?

    • @Dariddda
      @Dariddda 4 роки тому +1

      It wont. Still you open up the phone... but this time just the front. You have to be extra precise, and use some sort of glue (T7000 or T8000) on the top and buttom section of the glass and even then there's no guarantee it will be properly sealed.

    Hey bro how's it going? Thanks for a great vid!
    I do glass repairs myself as well BUT i just stumbled upon an issue just recently with a note 9. Was able to remove it from mid frame without damaging LCD & after I use the 0.5mm wire, for some reason a white vertical line has now appeared on the screen. Are the Note 9s extremely delicate? I've done S8s Note 8s including s10s & for some reason this Note 9 gave me this issue, has that ever happened to you with the Note 9s? Or was this my bad luck?

    Why is not taking it apart beneficial? Taking the phone apart takes about 8-10 minutes... putting it back together is about the same. The end result would be just as greasy and after lamination you can't put the phone in the autoclave cause it would damage the cameras or the battery... So waiting for the bubbles to dissapear by their own is just more wasted time in my opinion.

    • @erbconsult
      @erbconsult 4 роки тому +1

      Absolutely agree. Taking the phone apart and using a full frame assembly is less time-consuming, safer, and better quality over the long haul.

      This is a video of a repair, not a how-to. Consumers don't have a laminator so even if you got the glass off without damage, you couldn't affix the screen properly.
