Great Video mate. I have a mixture of the Preston Compact as shown and the previous large Matrix with the spring button to collapse the legs. Find both very good. Must admit I do like the New Matrix Compact ones.Well presented mate.
Hi all. Sorry can't be with you tonight....joys of being on nights. I have the MVR Rollers. Best thing I have invested in. Very sturdy and well constructed.
I like my somehat compact MIDDY Hi-Viz 50cm Original Pole Rollers, but often thought of needing a roller with a central upright, splitting the total width in two sides - very useful if your sections are getting hammered around in the breeze 👍
Some of these rollers you pay over £100 for one and yeah there good quality that’s what you expect but I bought both mine for roughly £110 the 500 height is 730mm and the 600 1300mm and a double 👍🏻
I recently bought the preston rollers, I'd had maver rollers for years, Very happy with the preston, the ones I have have curved ends on them Levels in the centre, I'd recommend these, Matrix rollers look good though, Good video bb
@@FirstTimeFishing l agree bb I was abit worried when I bought them, But very pleased, Your pole is only as good as its rollers Keep the reviews coming in bb
There are lots of good ones out there Ian… I believe the NuFish have a good write-up… but I’ve contacted them so many times to borrow some gear, but they never get back to you, so I’ve not had a real play with them unfortunately 🤷🏻♂️ BB
Have got the matrix double compact version for about 3 months now, replacing the carperlan rollers I had before, have to say I'm very positive about the quality, stability and type of material on the roller. Compared to my old rollers it is very nice to have a more compact version if you're always carrying a lot of gear. Only downside I found is that if you're a tall guy like myself (1.95m) they indeed are a bit low. Just ordered the extension legs to see if they can solve the issue.
I don't know if Matrix maintaining it's "quality" standard is necessary a good thing tbh... I had the butt rest, feeder arm and keepnet arm taking the proverbial dump on me after no more than 8 sessions... I used to be a big fan but after that I never purchased another matrix product.
That’s interesting Andrei… I’ve had an issue with a few Matrix products too, the biggest being some pre-tied hooks… but I have to admit, the Pole rollers feel well made and very stable, great comment! It’s good to know about problems people have experienced! 👍🏻 BB

I love the middy hi-viz! Brilliant roller, but pretty expensive for the size Bri, I think they’re like £70 for the 50cm… but they look the nuts! 😆 BB
Yer. They were about 70ish each, but I liked the bright orange 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Still need to buy some rollers liking the look of the Preston ones. Cheers BB
The notches on the preston are reassuring Kris and I was very impressed in the height you get with it! 👍🏻 BB
