The other singer is Jesse Teinaki who was also on The Voice Australia with Chris. I loved Jesses voice he actually came back for a second time on the voice to battle his anxiety and prove to himself he can do it.
When God was giving out vocal runs, the Sebastian family were first in line.

He’s even mentioned that he’s always had to stand in his brother’s shadow and needs move away from that. I guess in time he’ll settle down and take it back a notch. I agree 100% with you Nick regards the runs....if you over do the runs, which I think Chris does at times...then you lose the essence of the song...Guy has more finesse with his runs....so that when he does a run it is enhancing the song rather than detracts. But I do remember you reacting to Guy when he was a contestant on Idol back 2003 saying he was doing more runs than necessary just to show he could lol....so you may be right with your analysis of Chris...as in he's trying too hard to show his 'tricks'. Love Chris though...great voice just needs a little friendly advice I think..

You’re really right with what you say about Chris and Guy. Guy has certainly cut back on the runs these days. He has nothing to prove and as they say less is more. You can see in his performances that his voice has become more powerful and soulful. Chris is great and his runs are amazing, but maybe a little too many. He reminds me of Guy a few years back.

Chris is still new to this and is less mature and less secure in his voice, so is proving that he is capable. To himself, to Guy and then to the audience. I hope he relaxes over time and breathes through his music.
Nice the lads did well for not rehearsing. They were different styles for sure, Jesse had a much smoother slower voice suited well for the song, Chris did well aswel but seemed way more rushed even tho it was still on pace with the beat of the song lol your critique was right

Absolutely agree bud Chris sorta over uses runs but much like a very young guy your point about him still trying to prove he can sing when he can dang well sing his face off is bang on point. Definitely couldn't hold a candle to him or his brother if I tried thats for sure but I do like how guy is more patient with his face shredding runs now. Fully agree on the over doing of runs, the lad can sang plus his mate...would be good to see them do a cover of their own instead of a cover that was recently killed by a recent artist

Great voice, but too many runs. I think you're right, he's still trying to prove himself. That's not to say he's not a great singer. I was Team Chris all the way on The Voice. The other guy is great

I can't watch this one, him winning The Voice was rigged. The over use of runs is annoying, to me it's a filler like when people use "like" when they are talking. Lets do lots of runs cos I can't really sing.
