Not really, because MuayThai rules are different. This is not K-1. Of course you can elbow your opponent in the back. You can even kick your opponent in the face while he's falling down before hitting the ground. Different style different rules. Buakaw wasn't aiming for the back of his head, it's a shame that's where his strike landed. In the end he wasn't going to beat Buakaw so it doesn't matter that much that that's how the match ended

@mitsubishidiamante if its full muay thai rules yes elbows go in...you can jump & strike with the elbow on top of the head...30 seconds before that youssef woudnt let go of buakaw arm then he done it again just before the elbow went in.. buakaw got pissed off with him you can see buakaw trying to pull away & get on with the fight. it looked like youssef was hurt from a body shot

For me its simple..why so much rule? U want to fight rite? Maybe not punch/kick to the ball and thats it..fuck tournament nowadays with a lot of rules..cannot live with that..just spoiled the true brutal of professional fight
