When I see stories like this it reminds me to get my head out of my butt and start appreciating what I have. I am so lucky like many others and I don't even value it most of the time. I need to wake up.

My friend has this disease. He is now 55. He started training Tae Kwon Do AFTER he lost his sight.
He will be testing for his black belt in March 2018.

My mother, who has since passed away, had RP. I am 53 years old now and am scared to death of losing my sight through this disease. This is why I chose not to have children. I didnt want to curse them.

This guy played a character which was supposed to replace Screech. Ironic that this guy went blind yet still managed to graduate from Harvard undergrad and Law School and clerked for Supreme Court justices, whereas Dustin Diamond is apparently broke and all but begged for money when he struggled to pay his mortgage. If only Diamond had the gumption of this guy!
Jim Investor yes, he was supposed to replace Screech, although the character was different from Screech, with just some similarities.He was not made a laughing stock as much as Screech was.
He played the replacement ‘Screech’ character in the new class but only for one season b/c they bought Dustin Diamond back for the second season and dropped his character, he seems to have done very well for himself and has a good attitude in life despite the hardships he has faced

Sanaa Jade well when someone speaks u can generally tell which direction a voice is coming from. Try it yourself. Close ur eyes and sit on a bus or be out and public. You can tell at what degree and direction sound waves generally come from

Well that explains why he didn't show up for season 2
My mum, aunt and grandmother all have RP. I myself don't have it but I could be a carrier of it. We can't trace it back beyond my grandmother, she had 4 children 1 son and 3 daughters and it's only the youngest 2 (my mum and aunt) that have RP. There is 10 grand children and 9 grate grandchildren non of whom have shown any signs of having it.

@@leir2005 That's right, they followed it up with two shows: one was the College Years, which brought the Bayside gang to California University and lasted one season, and the New Class, which brought a new gang of students to Bayside, yet they dropped students and brought new ones season after season, and lasted seven seasons.

That sounds awful I would hate to be blind. I had tunnel vision before but God healed me. I also had a time where I couldn't see anything for a moment then my sight would return I guess like a blackout it was scary I have been healed from that too.
