Thanks Jonatan, i like the fact that the chuffing gets softer when it isnt accelerating and louder as it climbes a grade.

Possibly a great set of Running Gear to build an Sn3.5' ( Sn42) colonial 1880s Baldwin ( larger 1/64 scale Boiler and cab.
Or even Regauged to HOn 3-1/2...what is the chassis, metal or plastic?? A 3D Print process ??

      Hi Astrid,
I don't know, I think it is plastic, straight from Bachmann catalogue.

The chassis and boiler on these are metal. Everything else is plastic.

Which TCS WOW decoder did you use and did it plug directly into an NMRA 8 pin or did you have to solder? What speaker did you use?

Hi Richard, because this has the small tender I used the WOW 121 which came in the WSK-BAC-8 WOW Kit. It includes a mother board with KA, a WOW121 decoder and a 20mm round speaker. I removed all the Bachmann electronics, being careful to work out which black wires came from track, motor and lights. I had to drill holes in the tender floor for the sound to get out. I just followed the instructions that came with the kit and yes soldering was involved. see tcsdcc.com/1922 for the kits and instruction.
