Written by myself and Jon Dennis as a bet with our A&R manager that we could write a D&B track that Oakey would play. I heard him drop 'Jump around' when I warmed up for him and I knew he loved Billie Ray
Thank you for making this! I own it on vinyl and have used it in sets since it came out. Not only did you make a track that Paul Oakenfold would play, but you made a great D&B track regardless.
This song transcends genres, hype or whatever. One of the greatest pieces of music of all time.. Even if the world doesn't know it yet.. Thank you for your contribution . This song changed my life..
So much to say and so little chance anyone will ever read or respond to this. Global Underground 007 cd2 track 1. First heard it on a cassette tape and I was blown away immediately. The rest of the compilation is beyond good but this one song is something else. None like it before or since. Added to the mystery, ambrosia has absolutely nothing else like this to offer. This song hangs in the air as a standalone single best songs ever created of its kind. So very groovy, so well thought out and well mastered. On a quality sound system this song is a symphony of electronic music. Every element of the genre is effortlessly displayed with such flow almost none could ever reproduce. Anyone I ever showed this song was immediately captured/impressed no matter what genre they came from. I could keep going on about how at the time it was a measurement of being cool if you heard this song before or know anything about Oakey or the GU series.. It's just one of the best damn songs ever in our lifetime. Top shelf of the rarest kind.
i freakin love this track its timeless!!! sounds just as good as the first time i heard it years ago now!!!! di ! di !! di!!! di!!!! didn't!!!!! know what i was doin but did it anyway!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣💪😎 lol
A long time friend that I miss introduced me to this song and Paul Oakenfold. I just let my almost 2 year old son listen to it and he was dancing up a storm. Ian man. Lots of doob cruises to this track eh....
This is an utterly sick song, hardly heard it since bout 1998 when KissFM used to play it, a true forgotten gem. Worth listening to on a good stereo to really appreciate the rich sounds; it doesn't quite shine through at its best on this video due to various audio limitations. Was it anything to do with Oakenfold though? I thought he only ever played house music throughout the entire creative of Jungle music!? Many thanks for post :D

I haven't heard this for maybe nine years - what an amazing track! I love it.
The spoken vocal sample is from Ice T's "Hunted Child".
I going to say that I love it. This track is very rare.
