I love how the apes still use sign language 300 years later when they can all speak, probably because it’s apart of their history
Is that how long it's been or are you making it up
@@joshuarosen1862 that’s how long it’s been
And in hoots and grunts, everyone prefers there first lanuage.
I like to think it marks them as part of Caesars lineage, because it was him who first passed the skill down to his particular group of apes originally. They keep the tradition in his honor even after all those years.
@@eugenebuchanan686 Now that makes since
I always love the Orangutans in the Series they are so Kind and the Voice of Reason (I remember the first, Maurice)
Maurice melted my heart, him and Caesar was such a dynamic duo. The writing in this franchise is superb.
I freaking love Maurice
Except for Dr Zaius

300 years later and the kid named Nova remains constant.
Yeah
Her name is Mae
I think they call humans Nova to pay respect to the little girl that saved Caesar from starvation and dehydration
400 years later, the name Christopher Columbus remains constant.
I can only imagine why.
"We name them all, Nova" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was good.
I like the orangutan are the wisest person on this movie
Them Genetics run Deep💯💯
Is like Maurice and another oranguntan like Louie
Orangutang also tend to be a bit less gregarious than other great apes. It’s interesting that we see just one orangutang by himself among many chimps & gorillas
Maurice: You are....Nova. Nova.
First Godzilla x Kong and now King of the Planet of the Apes. This year is truly one for the primates.
Don’t forget Monkey Man. This does seem to be the year of the Monkey.
And a sign of primates going to rule Earth million of years later into the future in real life.
Year of the Empire more like it
🐵🙈🙉🙊🦍
Wow I don't realize that
The CGI is perfect, voice acting is quality I can't wait for this
I noticed that the Apes are becoming more humanoid, my guess as their brains have enlarged, it has necessitated that their physical forms become less ape like. Really acting by the actors, they are obviously people in motion capture but they feel like actual apes even though they've become sapient.
If you watch the original trilogy....Caesar walks bi pedal a lot. I think it's something to do with intelligence. But yea..they will all be bi pedal most of the time....unless they need to sprint.
@@ChristinaDay-vi1yb And his need to use his hands to communicate with ASL.
"We name them all.. Nova."
Nice nod to Bad Ape offering his coat to little Nova in War 🥹
I remember to Bad Ape in the third movie
Damn, that horse holds itself well dragging along a gorilla! At the rate the horses are evolving they'll have their own spin-off series: Equinox of the Equine
I mean theyv carries humans for thousands of years. Horses could drag anything. They are truly strong.
@@ChristinaDay-vi1yb Just some relevant info, it’s a bit long so don’t read if you don’t want-
A horse can carry a maximum of 1/5 of its own body weight (including tack). Anymore will run the risk of injury/contribute to long term injury.
However the posture of the rider also plays a significant role. A slouching giant ape would be harder to carry, and riding double is extremely uncomfortable for both horse & rider. The rider behind is seated directly over the kidneys, so even a smaller rider will weigh more heavily there. A horse not trained to tolerate it will kick.
Overall, the scene is unrealistic. But it’s sci-fi, it’s just for fun so hardly offensive. But try that in real life and the poor horse would be dragging its feet, stumbling and possibly getting hard to handle!
@@averycheesypotatotalking apes waging war and chasing cavemen level humans whilst shooting guns and riding horses seems for some odd reason unrealistic too
"WE named them all Nova" that means this isn't the first time they have taken a human in their care, which isn't that surprising since the first Nova became part of Ceasar clan and Maurice was Mike a surogate father to her
I love that this clip shows her reaching the horse and escaping.
0:44 OK, ASL peeps, what did Noa say? My guess is: "I think she's an idiot."
or "I. Think. Crazy."
@@kxmode He could have been calling Raka crazy. Makes sense.
He simply said “I know”
Or maybe "so what"
Probably something like " yeah sure" or "she's still dumb"
What other franchise has absolutely killed it with 3 completely amazing films in a row ? Hard to think of any and even then, not all of them are down right masterpieces like planet of the apes. And now to add a 4th which I have no doubt will continue the quality of writing and CGI. The onlly thing im confused about is how they don't get WAY more attention then they do lol. They just low key kill it and keep on making more like its no big deal 😅 love the films and the messege they bring, please don't stop making them lol !!!
That Orangutan is surely a descendant of Maurice right?
there were more than 1 orangutan but who knows :P...i really like raka (that orangutan in the clip, raka is his name)
Maybe we can’t tell because of three hundred years
The orangutan is wearing a necklace that resemble caesar drawing of the window he would look through in the attic of his home. So that orangutan must of been in caesar tribe or one of his followers
There is also an ape that looks like Rocket
@@GadielCastro-qo9jc does that mean ash much had kids and grandchildren?
Kinda funny that humans are a race of apes too, but the other apes treat them like they're from anothet planet lol
It's almost as if it was designed from the very beginning to be analogous to real world tribalism, finding common ground, racial prejudices and interactions with the unknown 🤔
The Apes probably don't know that, they're still in the early years of their society. Proximus might know if it's his voice we hear in discussing the concept of evolution. Besides I don't think that if they knew we were also Apes it wouldn't make difference, they would just consider us lower lifeforms like we do with them
Humanos é humanos macacos são animal Deus que criou todas as coisas
Well, I have a theory that Planet of the Apes is really a reflective thesis about planet of the humans
@@jonathanwhite7966 The original book is based on how Boulle called on his own experiences as a prisoner of war in South-east Asia during the Second World War, using the relationship between man and apes as a metaphor for the treatment handed out to prisoners by Japanese guards.
Noah must be a descendant of Caesar
I think it will be revealed by the end of the movie Noa being Caesar's blood descendant and then the apes will start to worship him and see him as their true leader bcs of the history and stories of Caesar's symbol and him creating it.
We'll find out in less than a month 🤗
Is it possible that noa distant direct descendants from Caesar via Cornelius or also possibly that his daughter in law lake was pregnant with blue eyes baby?
I have noticed he has almost a mark like Ceaser on his chest so maybe he is a descendant but we'll see so excited to see this movie❤❤🤩🤩
Eeeeeek I'm so excited, can't wait to see this one, gutted no Andy serkis though !!
“I smell you” i would’ve died right then and there because that’s terrifying af
This movie looks Totally EPIC
After 300 years since the start you can kinda still here there old noises they made like how Maurices did loud noises and you can kinda here it now I can tell this movie is going to be good
where did humans get their cloth from
Waited for like years for this
English is such an international language, it has crossed species.
Caesar was raised by a man who spoke to him in sign language, then English in a country that spoke English as its primary language. Caesar's first spoken word was "No!" It's the language he spoke in to his family and tribe in addition to using sign language. So naturally, over time, the apes would have adopted a hybrid of English and sign language as their language. The evolution of the Ape's speaking language throughout the films has been very natural and realistic.
@@kxmode Good answer
Because ceaser was taught in english and sign language mix
2:44 gorilla's roar is like Buck in the first movie, Chee Chee from Dolittle (2020), the one and only Ivan (2020), Akut from The Legend of Tarzan (2016), Bernie from Zookeeper (2011), Mighty Joe Young, George the albino gorilla from Rampage (2018)
Looks like Mae is pretending to be mute because of fear.
more like to avoid attracting the wrong kind of attention
Both are correct
Does someone know what exacly Noa said after Raka said ''She is Smarter than most'', i really got Curious!
Mae seems to be feigning muteness in this scene so I don't think she said anything at all
@@metoo3342 Noa is the ape bro, nova/mae is the girl

"The bananas mason what do they mean"
God Seeing them talk with this motion capture ahows how human this animals almost are, especially the orangutans.
I love these movies but my one gripe with them is that the apes are moving around on two legs too much. Even if apes were 10x smarter than us that would be exhausting for them with their hip and leg anatomy. Bipedalism has nothing do with intelligence, it’s an outdated idea. I get that it’s visual storytelling to show that they are more intelligent now but to do it that way to me just screams of the human bias of the human film makers and it takes me out of it a tiny little bit. They should keep moving around like apes, even in future sequels when they have cars and space ships and so on, it’s much more interesting. They should only get up on two legs to throw a spear or to see over tall grass etc, it shouldn’t be their default position.
The face at 3:27 / 3:28 makes me think of Shang Tsung in the original Mortal Kombat movie.
Is noa Caesar great great great great great great great great great great great grandson?
Yes but he doesn't know it yet
I’m exciting
Im pretty mundane
My thing is 🤔 do these apes have a longer life span because this is set 300 years after ceaser died so that means these apes have to have a longer life span.
What does that have to do with anything? Noah isn't Cornelius. None of these characters are from the Rise/Dawn/War.
These aren't the same apes from the Caesar trilogy. No doubt the movie will let us know how many generations have passed since then.
@@SpideyClipsReal chill chill google cast told me wrong a while ago so I went with Cornelius because a while back when heard about the movie and ik those aren’t the same other apes I was talking about specifically Cornelius
Okay so later she reveals that she's much more intelligent and can even speak like a normal person, why does she act like that and doesn't go sitting in front of the campfire to get herself warm? 🤔
Probably still afraid of the apes at first, but then she'll warm up to them after a while.
PTSD
Plot twist, maybe she came in a shuttle that's lost in a time warp which alludes to the first Planet of the Apes and the Tim Burton remake. Who knows?
She has got to be from earth‘s past when the first movie took place because if you’ve seen the first movie, or at least watched it again you will see a quick clip of astronauts going to Mars on tv than a bit later you see a newspaper article talking about the Mars shuttle, vanished . I believe that’s where she came from, there are probably going to be scenes and certain things that are going to be different from the original movie but from the clips and everything I’ve seen they’re piecing them together pretty freaking beautifully
I thought the movie is releasing on May.
Gorillas, as a rule, as actually quite peaceful as well as being social, thoughtful, expressive, and intelligent.
(Yes, I know it's Hollywood, and we wouldn't have a story without someone being the "aggressor"; so naturally, it has to be the gorillas.)
A hybrid human/gorilla might have been an answer; the strength of the ape combined with the aggression of man.
Still, it would have been a fresh, (original), take if the gorillas weren't tainted as the "heavies".
And it still kills me---if humans are "wild", why are they wearing clothes...???
From the beginning I thought mae was nova, the little girl from the third film.
No good deed goes unpunished.
How much of this movie do they wanna show?
The law is wrong
So, is she immune to the virus?
The virus is most likely starting to wear off amongst the humans and humans are being born with full cognitive abilities again. Proximus Caesar wants to hunt all the intelligent humans down and kill them so humans can’t rise again. That’s my theory.
all surviving humans are immune to the virus, the feral ones succumbed to a mutated strain that deactivated parts of the brain responsible for speech and creative thinking (intelligence)
look likes they all are but who cares, there is no labs and stuff to cure anyway.
All humans who survived the outbreak are immune, it was explain the dawn of the planet of the apes.
Or she's proof that humans are starting to evolve to what they once were, maybe thats why they're after her.
I really want to noah backstory. I take it he is a descendant of ceaser and his son Cornelius but what's in between? Is he Cornelius great great great grandson? Just wondering how big is the time skip from war for the planet of the apes
This movie already out?
*660th like*
if only furries ruled in many types in here
Dawn and war: modern military times, assault rifles, explosives ETC.
Kingdom: roman times even after 300 years.
they didn't build rifles, so they couldn't make more, the Apes are more naturalistic, so they reverted to that.
Weapons need to be maintained + ammunition and the apes would not know how to create assault rifles.
I still miss Caesar and his group, especially Koba
Jungle Book

Is that little Cornelius? The youngest son to Caesar?
no, this takes place 100+ years after Caesar passed.

This is dumb the horse didn't even flinch dragging a gorilla that probably weights more than him
The horse with the weights of the gorilla, the ape and the girl at the sime time. I was thinking the same.
Actually, its kinda a meme but this was a thing in the 2 movie. Everyone was saying rise of the planes of the horses because they have to go with the apes lmao
@@HIWHYAIWYAGD dude have you heard of war horses? those horses wear heavy armour and carry plated knights on their backs and still manage to gallop, horses are stronger than you think
actually a horse is heavier than a gorilla, a full grown silverback male gorilla weighs about 195 kg, horses (depending on the breed) can weigh between 490 to 1000 kg
yeah he would be able to keep going but if the horse swerved more it would be more realistic
The average male gorilla weighs 300 pounds. The average male chimp weighs 100 pounds. The girl probably weighs about 125 pounds. The horse looks to be about 1,100 pounds or so.
1) 300+100+125 is about roughly HALF the weight of the horse.
2) Much of the gorilla's 300 pounds is being dragged on the ground for a second or two.
Still, I think the horse would have flinched a bit more. If we're gonna talk about realism, I don't think the horse would go anywhere near a charging gorilla. Most of all, if this were more realistic, there wouldn't be talking gorillas, which brings me to the obvious:
*This is a MOVIE. Movies aren't real.*
If you really want to pick something apart, let's talk about genitalia. How come the male apes lack their "bananas" and "oranges"? Why do the female chimps lack swellings? Because if these movies _were_ more realistic, no one would go see them. Most of reality is too boring and the non-boring parts are too salacious for our uptight culture. The religious right would have a fit. Too bad for them, they'll be stuck complaining about "Darwinism" or something.
Which brings me to my final point: *There's no pleasing some people.*
they get cold? not me mate, I'm of Norweigan descent and have more hair on my ass-crack alone than most fellas.
