I have this 1.6 TDI in my Polo 6R, stage 1, can do 1050km on 15" wheels, 900/950 on 17. 110 to 130km/h with a 5 speed manual gearbox. Really happy with this model !
Interesting video. I use the Golf VI 1.6 TDI (CAYC) 4motion and can fill up to 60 liters. But I also push it to the limit and drive further when the display shows “0 kilometers”. I've had the Golf for 2 years now, had to make a total of 45 refueling stops and have driven 47,898 km with it. That's an average of 1064.4 kilometers per tank (I drive over 1000 kilometers per tank!). According to the "Spritmonitor", my Golf consumes 5.46 liters / 100 km. I like it :D.
I also have a car like this, its fuel consumption is amazing, but according to my experience, it can be even less at an outside temperature of 18-20 degrees C. Thanks for the great video
Very accurate freeway fuel consumption video thank you. For the same quantity of fuel how many kilometers do you get City drive? Would you care do another video City drive full tank. Thank you.
Hi, where was start and finish of your trip? Because is different, if you drive on flat or at mountain. Thank you :) . I was started at Prague and finish was at Pula with my Škoda Rapid 1.0 TSI 81Kw and board computer show me 4,5L/100Km with average speed 90Km/h but reality was 4,7L/100Km but it is so good too :)
you have the calculation incorrect. There are 4.5461 litres in a Gallon Actual consumption = 62.735mpg My 2001 B5.5 1.9 Passat Estate can achieve that but only during the summer
Yes, this is Euro 6. I don't know why the car computer is lying, but it's not just for Volkswagen. I will try to do the same test with the other cars soon
Il risultato di 4,6 litri x 100 km mi sembra ancora troppo ottimista. Sono proprietario di golf 5 tdi 1900 e nel consumo misto ottengo sempre il risultato di 17,5 km a litro. Risultato reale

great Video! the best video I've ever seen about fuel consumption. It was very pleasant to watch and in a short video the real consumption was shown.

Your video is a work of art mate!

nice video man
P😊😅
Skoda octavia 1.9 tdi comp says 4,5 L/100 km, but in reality it was 6,5 L/100 km. Computers = liars.
My golf 7 1.6 tdi 7.7 litre urban only
Very accurate freeway fuel consumption video thank you.

Thank you.
Try a crossclimate 2 tyre. Will give you a few more mpg than an alpine winter tyre. And the CC2 is fairly good on snow and ice.
in mine peugeot 207 hdi with 109hp are actually opposite , computer trip sayed 4,9liter and reality was 4,5liter
That's te first #REAL Fuel Consumption test i have seen on youtube! 1:21.5 Thx :)
Very nice video Mike 👍
Maybe it's because I always drive 120km/h+ because I'm always in the 6L/100km range with the VW Jetta 1.6tdi
Me too 130 140 150kmh with ac on
From 5 to 6L its for me

I drove with a single tank from Pretoria (Hatfield) to Cape Town (Fish Hoek)
I'm curious if the consumption would ve better with the 7 speed dsg.
Pa naravno da bi,i to osetno.
Mine does 4.9l/100km in a mix straight/mountain
you have the calculation incorrect.

Ciao, does this golf has ADBLUE system?
@@user-ts5qx4zj4u No, the 2016 Volkswagen Golf 7 with the 1.6 turbo diesel engine does not have an AdBlue system
Volkswagen Golf 7 2016 with the 2.0 turbo diesel engine typically has an AdBlue system
OBC is lying too much. Strange. Usually figures from OBC are almost same as they’re in reality. Is this Euro 6 engine?

110 km/h? whats the point lol

50 l = 900+ km
They’re always lying
Fill the neck and you'll get another 250km. 😀
if you want good fuel economy then avoid having AWD
whats that version
My mk3 1.2 TSI 110 fabia hatch can get better overall mpg and can go further on less fuel.
