His reaction was like a child receiving a long-desired toy as a gift-pure joy. And now, when I saw his reaction during the division championship celebration and champagne fight in MLB, it was just like that moment. After seven years in MLB, I truly believe he was starved for victory. The "victory" I mean here is having his team win a championship. This is what he has been longing for, and it’s why he follows the incredibly strict and stoic routine he sets for himself every day, more rigorously than anyone else. Everything is for his team to win the championship. I believe that over these past 10 days, leading up to the Dodgers winning the division title, Ohtani has made the world, not just America, realize this. Shohei san, once again, congratulations on the championship. I am truly proud to be your fan.

I remember last night, Jessica Mendoza (TV color commentators) said he never saw Shohei show this much emotion in games. Ladies, every September, in the last 6 years, he always saw his team (Angels) already eliminated for the playoff contention 😂 No need to show the emotion when your team sit in the last place 😂
