Today's video is about cleaning and organizing and sharing how I clean my home with all natural home made cleaners that are better for our health and easier on our budget ! Clean with me inspiration where you an inspired to clean your home! Easy cleaner recipes that helps you get done the cleaning faster!
It's all started with the smell :D There was a strange smell in the kitchen that was lingering around so I thought better if I look trough the pantry. I organized the pantry and cleaned a few area in the house and really soon I figured out the source of the smell too! :D

1 and a half cup water
1/2 tsp dish soap
10 drops of jasmine or lemon oil
For fall vibes change the essential oils to :
3 drops of cinnamon leaf essential oil
3 drops of pumpkin spice essential oil
3 honey apple essential oil
🌿GLASS CLEANER
50% water + 50% vinegar
or
50% water + 50% rubbing alcohol

My mother's side is from the Czech Republic 💓. Her parents lost touch with family after moving to the US during WW2. About ten years ago, my mother took a trip to the Czech Republic to see her parents' homeland. Can you believe that the tour guide for their trip took her own time, researched, and actually found my mother's family! They are mainly in Uvaly and Jablonec nad Nisou. Before covid, my mom, her sister, and my father went yearly to visit, and keep in touch regularly. 🥰 I hope to go sometime!

I love how you clean your home! I do clean basics and the obvious daily cleaning but, I don't clean that often so I wanted to see if I could get inside your mind... of how you do it. How your mind thinks, do you clean everyday? Do you wake up and have a cleaning list? Are you constantly doing cleaning tasks to stay on top of things? Your home is so beautiful, clutter free and clean! I'd like to make that happen at my home! 😩 I feel that I might be lazy? 🤔😳😩 My home is not crazy but I think I'd like to dive deeper and do better and make it like yours!! 😀❤️
You are so sweet but here are a few things. My home is not always clean and we have things out here and there but as I record at the end of the video time freeze and it probably gives the impression it's always like that. Soon as I'm done editing the video I can start over to pick up the house😄and dirt doesn't show that much on the camera especially on our floor it has a very good dirt hiding color. I have a somewhat structure like washing the sheet on Mondays but the rest comes as it seems to be needs to be done. The biggest change for me was when I reduced our things so I need to take care less and it's easier on the eyes. If the room is more simple and less stuff is in there it feels cleaner even if it's not. I do clean everyday a little here and there try to pick what I feel more in mood for lol if I would clean all day I would be burned out. I have days when I have to clean more and some days I just cook and do other things. Having less items on the floor also helped. I'm trying to keep cleaning as simple as possible. Hope it gave you some insights! and you are not lazy! I decluttered our home(not this one our previous home) for years step by step starting with the bedroom that was the easiest for me 🤗💗💗

We once went on a week’s camping trip and in preparation i made some snacks and food stuff to bring along (we too eat gluten free). Amongst some other things i roasted a chicken for cold meat… I had turned the oven off when it was done thankfully but proceeded to completely forget about it. Until we got to the campsite which was two hours away. We decided to leave it. When we came home a giant blue fly came out of the oven leaving its freshly laid offspring for us to deal with. Yuck yuck yuck. I still get the creeps thinking about it 😅 It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one with good ideas and bad memory 😉 Really enjoyed your video again! Thanks for uploading
Your wood stack and garden, the whole yard, really, is looking so good. Oh, no, hate leaving something. Once, many years ago, I went on vacation and left a pan in which I cooked a pork roast in the oven. Was gone for 2 weeks!! I was ready to just abandon the house. And it was in Florida in June.

you always make cleaning so much fun & motivating to me. One time I left eggs in an Easter basket & forgot about them being in there . I searched all over for the smell until I reached the basket I had to throw even the basket out & it took me awhile to eat a boiled egg again what a nasty smell ha ha !! Have a lovely weekend !
😂😂Ha ha! My friend had a similar experience they had an Easter egg under the bed in her son's room they thought a skunk died under the house! So I see why you had to throw out the basket and having trouble eating the egg again!😂💟

We clean our pantries the same way Noemi, basically by eating the contents as we go😂 Please, the next time you are near an ikea buy the little kitchen timer clocks with the magnet at the back and set the timer to remind you when to check the food in the oven😀
I have one but since we have our dryer , washer, oven everything is making a ding dong I don't know where I have to run! Oh no! So glad you found the smell - I thought you were going to say a potato. A couple of years back, we bought a big box of potatoes at the feed store and put in the pantry. I started smelling this smell, little bits and then worse and worse. Turned out there was a bad potato at the VERY bottom, covered by all the others. SO yucky! Luckily my husband thought, maybe it could be the potatoes and started taking them out, one by one, and found it. EW.
At least now the pantry is all re-organized and it looks so nice! Those big jars look amazing. I would want lots more too. Such clean lines!
That's what I suspected too it has to be the potato 😄after not finding anything suspicious there I was clueless! 😂

@@ScandishHome My grandmother was amazing at cooking/baking, and you remind me a lot of her. Whenever she wanted to measure out a recipe, she would keep a bunch of bowls lined up on the counter along with the bowl/pan she was using. She would put the proper amount into what she was doing, and then put the proper amount into one of the bowls and measure what she had put into the bowl. Unfortunately, I don't have any of her recipes, they disappeared when my aunts were handling her estate. :-(

So if you put wire baskets on the top shelf you can see through them to see what packages you have up there. And then when you go to clean I'll have to do is take the basket down just an idea

The smell could be humidity. Cabinets sometimes have those white spores all over. I clean my cabinets at least 2 times a year. I use water and vinegar and finally buy damped rid and use in my cabinets from time to time. I also use a humidifier from time to time.

For the Calendula you can place it in a jar, fill with organic almond or olive oil. Place in the window sill where the sun hits for about 6 weeks. Then use oil directly on skin or add a few tablespoons to your future creams.

Glad you found it. You know if you cut the ends of the bananas, you don't get fruit flies. I started to do that and no more flies! They lay their eggs in the stem I guess.
You saw my lavender trip on Instagram ? I got some syrup and sugar infused so I'll be baking with that. I got to see some chickens too.

Tammy you are so kind thank you for your sweet comment! 99% of the time I break it down once in a while I do a whole house clean but that's not that often! To me it's much easier to tackle here and there a little 🤗💗🌼
Keep wondering what you use as a fertilizer for your garden. Do you crush the eggs shells and use them as a source of calcium for the plants?
We do a chicken manure on the fall and spring and we add the compost 😃💗🌼

The mystery smell is the worst...is it the garbage disposable? Old potatoes? A dead thing? The discovery of a dead 🐀 was the worst. I had been deeply inhaling, sniffing around for the smell. 🤢 Thankfully his buddies got the message. We have never seen evidence of any others.
We make salsa chicken too. So easy! I use an instant pot for that kind of frozen chicken thing. Just dump that stuff in frozen and walk away to clean! Let's be honest - I usually go off and do something non productive. 😂
So smart to freeze the salsa! I never thought to do that. I use silicone molds to freeze spinach for our smoothies. I just put the spinach in the blender with a splash of water and then pour into the silicone molds. My son always chooses the spinach Lego men. We also have a silicone skeleton. 💀🦴😂 And you're right - those spotty bananas are perfect for smoothies. I freeze those too.
We are getting a Costco less than a 5 minute drive from our house! 🥳 It opens in August. I can't wait!!

Oh you gonna love having Costco near by you! Ha ha I know what you mean I was more and more afraid to find what was making the smell! It started out very mild then we had the heat wave!! 😂I think it was downhill after that 117F.. it smelled like a garbage can that is left out on the sun! Great idea to use a mold for the spinach we just freeze them in the bag we buy it but your way takes up less space! Great idea! Thank you so much for watching! I have started to use the mixture of vinare and water in equal parts, or the mixture of alcohol and water to clean the windows, and I can't get them to look good, they get a bit foggy, I have to clean them with newspaper to make them look well. any suggestions? thanks for being my inspiration, my house is much cleaner and more organized since I know your channel, greetings from Spain
I wonder if you use the regular alcohol that is for drink too, I had that it doesn't work as great, I use the rubbing alcohol it's a very common thing here in the states at the grocery I will link it to you so you can look it up if's it a different one than what you have amzn.to/3wkt7Bu vinegar is a better option from the aspect of the health but I think this rubbing alcohol works great. Also I use a bottle that never had essential oil in there. I use a rag to clean it then I use a clean and dry one to wipe it off. I have a vileda rag it works great! Could be the fabric softener on your rag maybe?💟💟😊
@@ScandishHome use a special alcohol for cleaning and I wash my clothes with detergent, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for white clothes, but I add fabric softener. It is very difficult to get rid of bad habits, but I am working on it. Thanks for everything
