Let me tell you something....TELEA....TUH!!!! Very underrated. I feel like she was "one" of the greatest Stingettes....from her freshman year to captain.
I hate how a lot of the stingette captains (not just lea&zy) received hate even if they’re mostly loved now. I hope the girls never let it get to them😭
Yes omg they was trashing bri the same way and then started to realize how legendary she was. They do the most and then double back! both zy and lea had good years to me even tho they weren’t my exact cup of tea they still devoured and upheld the stings name.
They both had bad music, a whole lotta crabs, and few vets. Yasmine was a crab to captain. Lea had four games her crab year and only did football season her vet year. They both had a lot on their plate with a bad coordinator making things worse!!!
Lea will always be a memorable Stingette and her Peak was her 2nd year in 21 behind Queen Bri as the Princes Ace But .. ZY is #5 on TOP 5 on Stingette Captains for REASON ‼️ Zy was the Stand out girl during the LEAthel Era and Solidified her self once it was her time to Reign. Zy “It Girl” era was nothing but Glam , Material, and Moments ‼️ She was truly her Muva’s Dawta ! And who ever comes up behind Zy has a bar to reach bc she Set that mf high ‼️ just like her mother Bri & Gma - QUEEN STING JANAE 💯 I wish upon #laSTAR ⭐️🙏🏽🤞🏽
didn’t really watch lea’s season nor zy’s that much but I love how close to the style lea stuck. 22 may have not been the most exciting year but it was very stingette to me.
Yeah if we talking Captain wise LEA Hands Down!!! The only way I would say Zy had a better season was due to administration. (Hair, makeup, uniforms, coach) Outside of that LEA! If she had that same admin support baby😮💨🙌🏽🔥. Throughout the season Zy count selection started to get predictable and very repetitive to me. Zy did what she had to do but baby Lea was on another level from crab to captain.👐🏽
I honestly feel Lea was so underrated. Her musicality was on point. She knew her music and used it all! Zy definitely looked good in front but i think because she was so attractive and had body people overlooked some of her struggles. At times she over milked a count unnecessarily and wasted key moments of music. But 23 uniforms were everything. Lea was ON that game with the camo outfit. Love Train was one of my favs from that season. I hoped Lea season they would cut some of the crabs or at least make them audition weekly.The mess ups got excessive even later in the season. THAT PRINCESS ...SHEESH...PRESSURE!
I’ll admit, I wanted to see Zy as captain because I thought she had the best look…but when she got up front, she started dancing too hard and stumbled on almost every song. I kept wishing she’d correct it before the season ended and that didn’t happen.
Idk I feel like I liked Leas season more than Zys. I feel like you can tell that Zy didn’t have a past sting as a coordinator (not necessarily a bad thing). Lea had better musicality, count selection (even tho she was limited to what she could throw), and her team was cleaner. Zys season definitely had better half times tho and entertainment value (them on the motorcycles was 🔥)
Lea’s team was A HIT! Zy’s team was unstoppable. 22’ crab class was so so solid man. Wish more of them returned. I feel like Lea danced more with the squad versus herself & I love that!
They do and I think it’s because Dr.O has limited their sex appeal over the last ten years and they have too many crabs that are fresh out of high school.
Coming from janae & Brianni ppl expected that style but Lea added diversity & was out the box. she was fun to watch & did the best with what she had. She most definitely is song assassin & Queen of personality. Zy is truly Brianni daughter & you can tell Brianni taught Zy. Zy had the budget, the looks, & she brought back the sensual powerful stingette style & the essence of janae & Brianni but ZY was authentically herself💯 LEA & ZY BOTH WERE GREAT CAPTAINS & DID THEY BIG 1 We need a round 2 bc its soo many great videos left out & we need basketball season
In Leas season Amber came back to help the girls for basketball season but zy had no coordinator during hers so I don’t think it should be a whole versus video bc I think everyone knows leas for the most part was better dance wise

Both were beautiful young ladies and great captains. I prefer Lea as a Stingette, personally. She truly embodied the customary Stingette confidence, power and grace. Zy had all the confidence and power, but the grace was missing. Sometimes Zy’s stands looked almost staccato in execution and that bled into the team. But Zy gave the entertainment and wow factor. There is no winner, imo. I wish Lea had a bit of the freedom Zy had to really bring the entertainment factor so fans could appreciate the talent of her and her team.
Imma be Quite honest here, I loved how Lea danced, facial expressions etc but for me she lacked digging in that count book, a lot of the songs, she was very repetitive and so were the stand routines, but she had a really strong crab class ! Zy season had the glam tand he look of how current stingette should look like. i also I wished Zy knew her music better, she sat down during songs a lot and would throw 16s at the end of a song. Overall ill say Zy season kept me anticipating the next game and had more of a shock value , so ill go with Zy but Lea did a great job as well !
the way they had Cherry all the way in the back , especially in 2023 really pissed me off. We could barely see her , and if she was messing up, its because her vision was literally obstructed.
I really gravitated towards Zy. I feel like Lea's season was amazing just as well as Zy’s, but I think Lea's season was missing some of those heavy hitters from the season prior and they had to kinda hold back because of the powers that be above the girls but at the end of the day they BOTH did great. I wish we could’ve seen a lot more Lea crabs during Zy captain's year, such as Zuri, Teriah, & more, but that’s just my opinion. I loved both Lea & Zy and both seasons.

Clarification I’m only judging based off of the captain, not the team as a whole if it were the team as a whole Zy would have more wins. Round 1 - Lea Round 2 - Lea For me Lea because Zy missed a pop out moment and the song was shorter in general. Round 3 - Zy She was more entertaining this round.
