The pet Will still rest in peace since the pet has already passed on, you Will only have something really special to remember your pet by, i think it can be beautifull and could be passed on for generations
I've lost 3 cats out of 11 in past 12 months. Streak had liver and lung damage. And lost 4 lbs Ina month. By the time I got her to get it was pretty much too late. Took game a bunch of but nothing worked except injections. She could barely stand up. I knew she wouldn't make it to her 3 birthday with 3 other siblings, which would have been Dec 18. So on Thanksgiving morning I started her injection to put her to sleep. Worked pretty fast. She fell down on my bed stood up and fell back down and she let out her last schriek of breath and and I lost it. immediately started bawling. I kept her in bed for like 4 days till she stàrted making an order. Put her in the freezer because I'm not ready to buy anymore pets, but I held her till she was gone. That was a month ago. I'm still not over it. I would like to preserve her someday. When you raise the babies from the day they are born you get so attached. 2 litters of 7 total and I kept then all
I wouldn't want this on my pets I would rather just bury them since I know how the body would be treated and I'd rather remember them how they were when they were alive
I really love my dog and miss her so much but I wouldn't do it to her for me she's too precious and I don't want her to suffer anymore by putting chemicals I rather remember her as she is she's alive I know she's in heaven and she deserves to be happy with other angel doggies up there
If I had to do it with my dog I would just feel depressed all the time because it's him, he looks alive but yet he's not there with me... id always expect him to suddenly start moving but knowing he's dead not possible... it would make me miss him so much more
I want to be a taxidermist, but I'm hesitant to tread into pet territory and I'll probably stick with naturally killed wildlife. First of all, you need to be very accurate, and there's a lot of emotional baggage with every piece. Plus the clients who want stuffed pets are just weird.
Im so sorry but this right here is so fucking creepy. Imagine having a dead animal in your home just standing there 😣 Like animals die, that's just what it is.
Hey amateur taxidermist here! We get that they’re dead, the whole point is creating the illusion of life through art, it’s in no way a denial of death, just an expression of it. Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t mean you have to be rude. Death is a natural part of life and I could easily argue that your discomfort being around dead animals shows that you, despite saying “animals die, that’s what it is” shows that you’ve done way less searching into what death is and what it means than any taxidermist has
@@nesinzan33 maybe because this DOES happen. Just because you think its weird doesnt mean it is? Everyone has a different view on something, people will think its bad some will like it, thats how it is. There isnt really a solid view to this everyones got opinions mate
@@alexisb.6727 You're disgusting for disrespecting the way people want to grieve. And if you hate taxidermy, why are you here? Caught in your own lies, huh?
Nadin White can you explain why ?! Everyone chooses to remember their loved ones in a way that’s special to them; it maybe a grave in the garden, their ashes in a stuffed toy (as we do) or their best mate stuffed as they remember them best 😁. Some people simply discard their dead pets! I’d certainly consider this, although I don’t see it as disgusting or awful; I mean think of all the ways humans treat bodies after death.
I am very angry at this because. Why can't you just let them die in peace? Ik you get a lot of money but still! This is just cruel and use them as decor?!
It's because I want to have my dog with me for the rest of my life. I've spent so long with him and I have a bond with him. It's not fair they only live a fraction of time we do.
Why don't you people realize its not for decor or display. Its a way of honoring our closest companions. Whats the difference in stuffing an animal and keeping their ashes.
They could've got a Cuddle Clone of their pet 😐. It's less creepy looking. I'm getting a Cuddle Clone of my late dog, Nala. She's in my pfp. Cuddle Clones are on Instagram and Google (of course.) Nala had to be put down because she had parvo, and I was devastated. Even my dad was upset 😥 (he loved her, as she was his dog. But he doesn't really cry over deaths, so this saddened my family.) Nala was an American Bully, (a type of Pitbull) but she looked more like a Pitbull Terrier to me. I miss her everyday. Obviously, I've had a lot of dogs that I grew up with. For example, if you take a look at my channel, you'll see a small white dog with dark brown eyes staring at you (she's in my banner.) Her name was Lily, and she was a Wauzer (a cross between a Westie and a Schnauzer.) Honestly, that name was deceiving 😂. Lily was my previous late dog that my mom had to get rid of as she bit, snapped and barked a lot. It had gotten so crazy that my mom had to get a shock collar. It kinda worked? But I wouldn't say it stopped the problem all together, she still found a way to bark. She was a smart dog. So yeah, I'm gonna be getting CC'S (Cuddle Clones) of all the dogs I have pictures of. I even have a picture of my really old, late dog (I think.) Her name was Sophie, but I don't know what she was mixed with (all I know is that she wasn't a pedigree, lol.) I used to have a picture of my ridiculously (I ran out of words here, lol) old late dog, Maggie, but I was young and I didn't take care of it. I wish I did, as I want to remember her and possibly get a CC of her too. CC'S are expensive (obviously,) but for a good reason. And they're also well worth it. Anyways, I highly recommend getting one of your deceased or current pet. Trust me, it's not creepy at all. Idk how people can even say that. So, yeah. Thank you, whoever, for listening to me..
I want my cat back but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing this because she meant the world to me and she deserves to rest in piece
@amberravine yikes...so sorry to hear that
The pet Will still rest in peace since the pet has already passed on, you Will only have something really special to remember your pet by, i think it can be beautifull and could be passed on for generations
Your cats soul has left the body and is living happily in spirit form. The body can either go into the dirt or burn or you can preserve it
I would rather preserve my pet's skin and then bury the rest of the body rather than having the pet gone forever and to be forgotten

looks like she does nice work
Did she pull a fucking ZooperDooper out of the freezer? hahaha
Thats awsm
I didn’t know people taxidermy pets
Cool
That’s just creepy
Im scared now
only thing i understand would be like a dear head cuz that would be cool
I love taxidermy, but what the freak? Your pet????
Silvean maybe it’s to honour them? honestly i wouldn’t do it with a cat or something large but i guess rodents would make sense

No way. She is not respectful of the animals at all. Stuffing them in trash bags all piled up in a freezer? No way.
has anyone done hamsters?
I haven’t but know people who have. Mice are more common though
Take that back
Never in 300000 years

I’m not fully on board with taxidermy, but I can’t imagine that people who would get their pet done, did so just to disrespect it
Some people still want their dog preserved forever

wtf is ur profile pic? Do u do drugs ❓
Shouldn't it say "music: Two Wrongs - Glass Diamonds" instead of Glass Animals?

NORMAN!
We want out pets with us, not our mother.
I would
Common Plant he’s still thinking about it. Can’t decide.
I don’t even want my mother when she’s alive why would I want her around when she dies. Guess you never had pets.
What about the decomposition process? Wouldn’t there be lots of flies?
No, it’s just the skin. Anything that would rot is replaced
@@MamaSoulWeaver doesn’t skin rot too? I’m confused lol

There are ways of preserving skin. Taxidermists use some chemicals to do it.
@@alvarezanna leather is skin. So there's all kinds of ways of preserving skins, not just for us to wear.
what about the paws, nose etc? do they not rot?
Please don’t taxidermy pets. That’s freaky. It’s like stuffing your best friend. It’s gross. I can’t explain this and how it’s just so gross.
Chanelle Doll I’m just saying. Stop being a bitch. It’s just weird to have a dead animal in your house.
Nope don't disrespect how someone grieves
Ah yes, everyone must stop doing that because *you* can't deal with it xD

How so? it’s just someone’s way of remembering
Yeah this is wrong, it would be better to use the skin and fur for something practical like making a hat or pair of slippers :D
Why the animals already dead, the owners are doing this out of love for their pet. Maybe a little weird but definitely not awful and disgusting.
