As an Indian fan, I got exactly I wished for. I wanted India to fight nail and tooth and defend 120-140 and they did really well. This match against Pakistan was similar to Ind vs NZ WTC final 2021 and every over was at knife's edge Fakhar Zaman was the key. He took on Axar and forced Rohit to keep Axar and Jadeja off. With 42 runs needed off 42 balls, Rohit had to turn to Hardik who had bowled a spell of 2-0-18-0 and had Hardik been hit for that boundary, it was game over for India, but Fakhar fell for that bait and changed the game Rohit Sharma is one of the luckiest captains around. He won two games against India, which Pakistan could have easily pulled off

The toss saved Pakistan. The pitch was deadly under the cloud cover with moisture. Had India won the toss and bowled under the shade, Pakistan wouldn’t have even made 50. The second innings, was relatively better to bat on with the moisture gone and pitch drying up under the sun. It would have been a walk in the park for India. Having said this, it was India’s mistake and lack of game awareness which led to India’s batting collapse. That’s the pressure of batting first when you don’t have a target.

The problem with Pakistan is - when you are constantly told by your media and people around you that you are amazing and the best in the market, you tend to get cocky and stop learning. They’re so weirdly over confident yet supremely under confident and buckle under pressure every single time! And if you observe, most of them seem so under confident when they have to speak, not just on international platforms(English being a barrier)but even in their own country. They’re only a handful who are confident enough to face the camera and most of them belong to yester years. Not many from this generation could speak confidently.

I think this match just showed how most underrated part of cricket is running between wickets, this ground was huge, Pitch was totally pro bowling but with the length of stadium the batsman could've scored more just by running, twos and threes were totally possible. Had India tried for two and threes instead trying to hit sixes, the score would've gone 140-50 score. Running between the wickets is the key for this ground

The toss saved Pakistan. The pitch was deadly under the cloud cover with moisture. Had India won the toss and bowled under the shade, Pakistan wouldn’t have even made 50. The second innings, was relatively better to bat on with the moisture gone and pitch drying up under the sun. It would have been a walk in the park for India.
Having said this, it was India’s mistake and lack of game awareness which led to India’s batting collapse. That’s the pressure of batting first when you don’t have a target.
