Shakh Okasha came to my masjid masha allah at first I didn't see him I was praying at the corner I thought one of the Arab brother came then I was told he was not Arab but African brother then I get up to check when I saw him I felt good , after the trawiih I met him and told him my thinking of good voice was for Arab brothers because it was their native language the way I used to believe but I come to know it's not true it's how much you can improve and strive to get it right and work on the ton, tachweed among other things that come with the style u choose , in conclusion I told my brother that he gave me personally encouragement masha Allah we need more brothers like him ameen
it is not only arab have good voice even non arabs

May Allah swt give me Children that will memorize Qur'an,recite it nicely and fear Allah inshaAllah

أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient.
(Saheeh International interpretation of The Meaning of 57:16}
Shahr bin Hawshab said:
“I said to Umm Salamah: ‘O Mother of the Believers! What was the supplication that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said most frequently when he was with you?” She said: ‘The supplication he said most frequently was: “O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion (Yā Muqallibal-qulūb, thabbit qalbī `alā dīnik).’” She said: ‘So I said: “O Messenger of Allah, why do you supplicate so frequently: ‘O Changer of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.’ He said: ‘O Umm Salamah! Verily, there is no human being except that his heart is between Two Fingers of the Fingers of Allah, so whomsoever He wills He makes steadfast, and whomever He wills He causes to deviate.’”
