The Asus turbo has a lot of empty space on the other side of the heat spreader, the part the thermal pads are attached to. I stuck on like 4 little copper heatsinks for additional cooling

Yes, you can also do that to improve the cooling performance. Or use high performance thermal pads. It depends on how much money you want to invest.👌👌👌

So usually 10% - 30% should go down depending on the gpu and how good the cooler is.

So normally for the memory chips original 1.5 mm thermal pads are necessary. And the long thermal pad original is 2 mm thick. I installed 2 mm thermal pads on my memory chips. I don't know whether the 2 mm thermal pads will fit On your GPU. But the original dimensions shouldn't be a problem for the card. So memory chips 1.5 mm and the long one 2 mm.

Depending on which exact card you have. Specific for this GPU there are RAM CHIP 2mm and for the remaining components 1mm to 1.5mm

@@jugoslavs i have same card.. well not exactly same it is 1080ti but also asus gtx turbo. It looks the same. Do you think there are the same thermal pads? I cannot find any info anywhere.
