Glad you enjoyed it an your the first to comment on that haha made everyone think he was going to survive but I thought he deserved a kill from the man himself
Dude this was freaking awesome!!!! Really enjoyed this fan film, keep making more, omg and I love that you used the 1st mask, the clown mask, classic, clown mask is freaking wicked, spooky
Tons of neat little throwbacks to previous films in the series, as well as other nods to different films. I loved the washed out look of the film. The wardrobe of the characters and the background setting gave this a "small town" feel. The mask, although wildly different, still fit the overall theme. I'm not sure anyone else could've pulled this off, but you made it work. I'm slightly disappointed I managed to miss seeing this during the month of October when I binge watched as many Halloween fan films as I could, but I'm happy I still came across this one.
Thanks so much for the review and support! I think it was missed by alot of people since it doesnt have the traditional mask! I'm hoping it will still catch on eventually! I appreciate the kind words!
Nailed it. And let me tell you why. The other fan films are so caught up on looking high end that they always miss the mark. The true style of Halloween aren't to look like big movies. But to look independent. That's why most of the fan films look so cheesy. But you actually get it.
I really appreciate this. my idea for this was to 1. Try an replicate some of the main shots such as the opening scene. 2. show what it might look like if they used the emmet Kelly mask. I Appreciate the love man. I ended up being crew for Halloween kills about 6 years after making this.
@@JackNorman well you did one hell of a job! Amongst so many Halloween fan films that have gotten it wrong in EVERY aspect. YOU got it right. And also I have some Halloween John Carpenter esque tunes that I've composed that you can use in your next project of you decide. Let me know and I'll send em to you.
Rob zombie did say he was gonna take approach like this when he going to do the movie but he shifted it into something else Side note this movie is well put together I watch more fan made then actual movie's when I'm on yt good job bro
"Hey, Jack. What kind and brand of brown coveralls did you wear as Michael Myers in Halloween: The Babysitter Murders?" (I'd would really like to know about it.)
Alright I'm sure we both understand there really isn't too much original story here, it is taking a lot directly from the original. Even with that said though, you do some cool new things here which I really enjoyed (I'm a huge Season of the Witch fan). The acting was good, better than the actual Halloween movie at points even. The clown mask was pretty creepy, not nearly as cool as Myer's mask of course, but still cool. Point is, this was a neat little fan film lol
@@JackNorman8 months late and I love it it’s just there’s something about a man wearing wearing a janitors suit and wearing a clown mask with a sad face is just scary asf

Man, I thought the guy Rob Zombie had banging Judith was bad but god damn....that long haired soulless ginger was Ryan Gosling compared to your guy. Your movie kicked enough ass for me to credit it as an inside joke. It’s a little harder to justify Laurie being tatted up and having Marlboro voice in high school lol
This was awesome! Have always loved the Halloween and Friday the 13th films! You did a great job. I have always wanted to make films but can't decide which camera to start with. I can't decide between a DSLR or something like the Black magic camera. Do you have any recommendations for a beginner? The most I can spend right now is $700 on a camera. Thanks for any help you can give me. Keep up the awesome work!
Hey, Jack Norman. I think that someday that you should definitely make a full-length movie of: "The Babysitter Murders.", that was based on John Carpenter's original vision for his legendary independent film of 1978: "John Carpenter's: Halloween." Can you do that for the fans?

MO VISUALS yea basically lol the point was to see what Halloween would be like if they had used the clown mask instead of the White mask. So yea we did.
Nice touch with the Emmett Kelly mask. The first idea of the shape's mask.
I like it. A nice mix of the original and the remake. Also, damn it, Ben really couldn't have survived, could he?

Oh no! Michael Myers kills Ben Tramer! Cinema Snob is not gonna like this fan film.

Well at least Tramer didn't become police car BBQ this time around.
