CAMPING LAKE SOMERSET DAM WEEKEND | NRMA Holiday Park Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
First time to get out and about since Covid-19 closed down the world and was so great to get back out again.
This is a great little camping spot just outside of Brisbane and seems very popular with the Locals. Can cater to anyone even if you don't have camping gear.

Yay...so glad you got to have a weekend away 😊 looks like a lovely camp sight. Beautiful sunrise over the lake, like the clouds over the mountains. Stunning photo of the milky way ✨
Yep...was so glad to get away. Was away the next weekend too and getting to that video next week...lol.
It was a nice spot but the clouds kept the sunrise away....I got a better time lapse at the gold coast in next week's video 😁👍

Yep, thinking I might have to try it out again in the summertime. Jetski would be fun too but not sure I could afford that one. Maybe just hire the kayaks...LOL

That was a really nice shot of the milky way. It's crazy how it's colder there and we are seeing 100°F weather. Looks like a pretty awesome lake. (Richie)
Totally, I would love to head back and stay when it's a little warmer, but didn't seem to stop a lot of people..LOL. I is very weird seeing everyone post about the summer and thanks for the feedback on the Milky way shot, seemed to do well on Instagram when I posted it too :)

ive already been but am stopping by for a reminder of the lake. great video. Interestingly, if you stay in the "log cabin" and do so during the week, it is secluded and quite romantic and cheap for a getaway. Camping is one thing I am all for, but that little cottage is something special to be enjoyed as its gated off and offers its own little peninsula. if you know you know! happy camping!

Will have to check it out the Next time I'm that way.....at the moment we have just hit charliville and looking for some amazing outback content coming to my channel soon...I have seen so much of Queensland in the last 12 months 😜💖

I do however know what you mean about the Quality render and that's easy enough to do (not sure where you find out knowing that..LOL), just not sure how much of a difference it will make to my videos?

Hi Chris!
I right-click on the audio in either the Edit page or Fairlight page...Clip Attributes -> Audio (only if in the Edit Page)...change Mono to Stereo and change to Embedded Audio.
Regarding the final render, check out my comments on this video...
I’m totally happy to share what I’ve learned in DR. Feel free to ask away while keeping in mind that I am just figuring things out as well.

Hi Nate, Thanks so much for the info. Only started using DR at the end of last year so still heaps to learn. I'm in the middle of editing a video now and tried out what you said above....OMG sounds so much better..LOL.
I knew it always sounded different but didn't know I could change it. I already have a video uploaded for next week but changed to stereo for the one loading the week after.

As for the render, I will generate at the higher value and see how much of a difference it makes. I will also scope out you video you posted to find out the reasons why.

Evening Chris! Good to hear you’ve worked out the mono/stereo bit. My action cam records in stereo, but my handheld with gimbal doesn’t...I have to remember to slide audio to both channels with that one.
Another tip, if you will...not sure if you know this one...I believe it can be done in either Edit of Fairpoint...
Right click of any # of audio clips and choose Normalize Audio. This is great for leveling out vocals. I typically chose Independent and 0 dB.
