started remaking the fuel lines to go thru the tunnel and cut a big hole for the oil cooler.

I poped a small bit thru and felt around and sworn I felt the burr on the inside of the tunnel, even though it felt like it was a long way from the outside I thought there's the burr it must be good. Live and ya learn I guess good thing my welder is dialed in :) always gotta look at the bright side and learn from your actions. Thanks Gary it sure is nice getting back to the bug I sure do miss driving a vw!
