They should of just kept the sim card in it
There are two main benefits to not keeping a physical sim card.
1. It pretty much makes it useless if someone steals your phone - In the past, they'd immediately pop out your sim, put a new one in, put it on a new carrier and boom, your phone is stolen. This can't be done anymore
2. It's super easy, when in another country, to get minutes/text/data added to your esim, so that you don't have to pay super expensive roaming charges
esim, without a doubt, is the way to go. Now if only I could get my working! It's Christmas day on a Sunday, these suggestions didn't work for me and AT&T is closed. Grrrrr!!!
Fr like I’m going through hell with this set up 😭
nah fr
@@dontbanmebrodontbanme5403 What if you visit to an another country and need to use a sim from that country?
Canada sells the 14promax with a sim card slot just like the older ones
Thank you. Your video has the easiest and clearest process how to activate eSIM on the new iphone 14. 👍 Thanks once again!
Straight to the point video! That is what we all need. Thank you.
i have a question on the Delete Esim function. When you delete the Esim, does it cancel your line from the carrier? Also, what happens if you deleted your Esim by accident?
I am trying to transfer sim from iPhone 11 to eSIM on iPhone 15, and it’s giving error- “Sim in your old iPhone does not support eSIM transfer.” How can I transfer in this case?
Thank you!! This saved me a trip to the ATT store!
Dude you are the man, I have been going through trying to figure out why this thing wasn’t transferring for like an hour until I found your video and realized my old phone didn’t have a passcode set up and that was what was stopping it. Thank you very very much!
Wym by passcode like a passcode to unlock your phone?
Incredible video! I found it to be super informative as well as very easy. I actually thought I would have a much harder time accomplishing it and you made it super easy Peezy for me. Thank you.
That was very helpful because I’m getting the new iPhone 14 Pro Max And I was thinking about calling my carrier
thanks for the video👍
If you can't transfer it from the phone. Try calling your carrier.
Wow! This was easier than I expected.
You made the process very easy. Thanks
This is exactly what I wanted to see!! Thank you so much.
Very helpful video thank you saki!!
Really helpful video! Thank you for uploading!
I speak to Apple and T-mobile they just confused me but you video was great 👍🏻 thanks
This was really helpful! Thank you
Thanks. I can only hope my transfer goes that smoothly.
It was actually very simple and trouble free! No problem!
I think that was a great video! The only piece of feedback on the offer would be too sure how much simpler it is with quick transfer if the Carrier supports it while doing the initial iPhone data transfer.
Does that mean that if it doesn't allow you to transfer while setting the new iphone up that I can do it after its set up and logged in? It says that the number wont transfer during the initial set up of the new iphone, but it will once its logged in and I go to the settings on the new iphone?
@@Macy-bj6xh yes. Once iPhone set up go to settings > cellular > add eSIM. May have to go to your carriers website
So Helpful!!! Thank you for this video!!!
Straight to the point and informative. Thank you so much!
That's the info that i've been looking for. Now i am ready to upgrade my iPhone X to 14. Thank you for the informative video.
Did it go smooth? keep reading comments saying it wasn’t so easy. Also looking to upgrade from the X
It goes smooth but not as smooth as what he showed in his video coz my network provider is Mint Mobile. So i need to access their app and order their esim for free using my same number. So now i am on esim. Phone setup is really smooth. Everything complete in less than an hour depending on your saved apps/files.
@ARL McTan thanks for the reply! mine was pretty seamless i have at&t. My iphone x was not updated to ios 16 but it still transferred my sim to esim on my new 14
@@atan0725how do you like Mint mobile? I was thinking about switching to them when I buy a iPhone 14
Using mint since 2019. No problem with Mint
Thank you for this great video! Much appreciated!
Very good explanation
Wow! I was gonna go back to smasung but when I found this video i was relieved! Thank you!❤
Wow! You’re a life saver. Thank you 😄😃
Great video super helpful!
Thanks! You answered my questions without asking! Like an E question!
Excellent video. Is it necessary for the 2 iPhones to be logged in to the same Apple account?
This makes me a lot less nervous about setting up my new phone thank you so much!
Thanks bro ur the goat love ur vids
This is a VERY GOOD Video. Thank you
Brilliant! Thx Saki. Cheers. ✌🏾
Thank you. Thank you for writing it also on screen
Superb , thanks clear explanation, it so helpful! love you!
Thank you Bro , this video is useful .
This helped me out n answered my questions. Ty
Phenomenonal demonstration
I almost returned my iPhone 14 pro max but you did a good job 👍👍👍. I am enjoying my new iPhone 14 pro max. Thank you
Bad idea .. If your phone gets broken .. you can't swap the eSIM out and put into another phone
This is exactly what I needed to learn
👋 Bob!
Thanks man I was worried because I wanted to use a different number for my new iPhone 14 now I see it will be really easy to use a different number on my account with my new phone thanks 🙏
Hi great video. Can this be done on the uk Iphone 14PM ? So I would then get a free sim tray to use with another sim. ? Just a thought. Thanks
Great explanation!! Did not even think of this or know about new e sim. My question is tho, what order do u do the steps. Transfer pics and such first or do the sim transfer first? Will it prompt me to do one first?
Omg thank u so much for this video it helped so much
very interesting thank you....i have an iphone 13 with a physical sim. how many esim can my phone and or especially the iphone 14 have since the 14 doesn't have a physical sim card...thank you again and keep them coming...
Wow! That's so helpful! And do u change the esim after transferring your things from the old iPhone to the new iPhone? Or before?
very useful video, thanks a lot
Thanks! What if you’re travelling internationally? Specifically to India… how would I use a SIM card? Do they also have E-sim available?
Sock !!! You got me with that thumbnail
Broseph
awesome instruction 👍🏽
Thank you for the info…
Great video
Great video!
Do you need WiFi enabled on both devices? Should you have transferred all data from old iPhone to new first or after?
I assume if you're trading in your phone, you do the esim transfer first before removing all data from your old phone?
What step should be taken first?
Data transfer or esim transfer?
Wow thats easy. I was hesitant to upgrade my XS max to 14 pro max because of the eSIM.
Thank you for this video! My issue is that my old phone does not turn on at all, hence the reason for needing a new phone. In that case, how would I go about the transfer?
Will this be the same process for phones that use T-Mobile?
Just a quick one would you transfer off iCloud first onto the new phone or can I still do it after I’ve transferred the sim
Hello ,can you use also a physical sim card ? After you paired phone with Esim it is possible also to unpair just in case i want to switch to physical sim with another number. Thank you
The last part is what I needed to see and hear, thank you. I'm on the 12 pro max and my mom is passing down her 14 pro max to me and she's waiting for her 15 pro max to mail in tomorrow and I was wondering if we needed to go in store to switch the esim from 14 pro max to the 15 pro max or if it's possible to just switch it at home. Thank youu
Great job I thank you Sir 👍👍👍
Are you able to do this when switching carriers
I spend a month or more every summer in SE Asia (mostly Vietnam). Would I be able to purchase a SIM number in Vietnam and use it on my iPhone 14 and switch back when returning to USA?
Thank you sir 🤝🏻
we love you big dog!.. but we need that Android to iPhone esim swap video!!! like ASAP...
What do you do if the old phone doesn’t support iOS 16
I’m getting a iPhone 14 pro tomorrow so let’s hope this goes well
Thank you so much
Question, if I have a prepaid service, physical Sim, could I transfer ESIM to a new iPhone 15 🤔🤔
Does it matter if you are switching carrier and porting your number from Att to Say VZ? Will this method work to port your number?
My old iphone is IOS 15.4, so I am updating it. Thank you.
Thanks man
well its good to have physical sim tray just pop it out stick it in and its done esim is a hustle im sticking to my iphone 13 pro max even though i want a new iphone. Plus ive got a s22 ultra its easier with sim tray in. What are they thinking!??
Will my cricket wireless SIM card from my iPhone 11 be able to transfer to an AT&T iPhone 14
Thanks! What about going to another country? Usually I'd put in a new sim card for that country.
Do you transfer data/photos prior to this?
I love the concept of eSIM but most carriers here in Australia don’t support it yet so unfortunately I can’t use it :/
I have an iPhone 12 Pro I live in Australia my current SIM came from ALDI and uses the Telstra network. ALDI have told me they currently don't support eSIM. Telstra being the largest network in this country probably does. Will I be likely to encounter problems transferring to eSIM as per this video?
Thanks so much
Does this work across carriers? For example, if I have AT&T service on an iPhone 11 can I buy a T-Mobile iPhone 14 and do this process?
They kept making the SIM card smaller until it disappeared, nice trick!
Can you transfer esim from iphone 14 back to physical sim?
Thank you sir
Would this work with my old iphone X to my new iphone 15 pro work even if the x is up to date?.
Do both phones have to have the same iCloud?
Very helpful…
What should I do first? Transfer files to new phone or do the sim transfer ? Thank u!!
Nice video, Ty!! But you didn’t blur ur number @5:26.
Excellent video instructions. I have 2 phones and want to use my older iPhone for outdoors hiking and camping then transfer back to my newer iPhone for daily use. Thank you.
So once this is done, do I just go log into my iCloud to get all of my previous info, texts, WhatsApp, contacts, photos , etc? Or do will all that automatically transfer over with this method?
Hi after you transfer to new iPhone 14, ATT still lock your phone 14?
So what would happen once you transfer the sim information over to the Esim phone and you remove the sim from the old phone and you want to transfer back to the old phone do you still need the sim you removed or
Does it convert into Esim? Also does all your content from your old phone to the new one like texts, pictures and any other stuff you have on it?
i will like to kno how this go also
Can you transfer minutes from a physical sim to an Esim? I have a prepaid service, Tracfone, to be exact. No one else can seem to do it. I purchased an iPhone 14 pro and had to take it back because no one could do it? It has been said that until all the prepaid services get on board with the esim, we won't be able to do it. I have a couple years of prepaid time. I can't lose it.
Would this be applicable for Sims that are from other countries?
I have Verizon prepaid and it was not supported supposedly. Been trying all day. Hopefully at the Vzn store they can do it tomorrow.
Do I need anything else other than my old and new phone? Do I need to contact my carrier, get a QR code, anything like that? I've never done this before and plan to get the IPhone 14 pro, so I'm just curious
Thanks!
If i have a carrier-locked verizon physical sim and put it into the unlocked iphone, can i still transfer it over to my verizon 14 pro max?
When I transfer it to the iPhone 14 can I take the sim out of the old phone and would it still be active on the iPhone 14
Will my Apple Watch (cellular) automatically pair with the iPhone 14 Pro?
can it work from both active phones, like basically switching both data from one to another?
