If anything changed it would just become another branch. So Loki would still end up here. Something changing would just lead to the creation of another universe. Like if loki died right before starting the attack on New York instead of just going straight to the battle like he did in the movies then that universe would branch right from the moment he died and the original universe would continue to the point where Loki is now. There are infinite universes where everything could be exactly the same as Loki’s but for example instead of iron man telling Loki “not a great plan” he could say “not a really good plan” and that’s the only difference in the whole entire universe. That little change would cause a branch.
The only branch that leads to the loki show is the one where loki grabs the tesserac and escapes. That is the only way for the loki in the show to exist. The events of that show ONLY happen...if loki takes the cube durring the time heist and creates a branch by teleporting away. This causes the tva to arrest him and prune the branch he created which causes this specific 616 loki variant to be taken out of time itself and set him on the path he who remains carved for him which leads to him and Sylvie speaking with him at the end of time. No other variants are able to achieve this.
And that's the best thing they ever did. Can't imagine a lady being Captain America, Dr. Strange kneeling before a bunch of nothings and seeing another Stark that's not Downy Jr
I initially found it irritating that they named the movie universe 616, because that is what the official comic book universe was called for a very long time. Up until Secret Wars number 3, if Im not mistaken; there have been at least 2 crossovers called Secret Wars before the one where Dr Doom ended all the different universes, pulled together a planet from pieces of those universes and reigned as king. I think that is when the 616 comic book universe ended.
Theory: What if Loki the god of time/god of stories escaped the rules , confines and laws of time not only therefore making him immortal and very very very powerful and makes him basically be his own time stone but much more powerful because he is not it but the god of it and also because he literally control's and manipulates all of time every timeline, therefore kind of every universe in a way, but if you try to go back in time in universe 616 to kill him so to not make him ascend to his glorious purpose it won't effect (god of time/god of stories) Loki in anyway.
What do you mean, the MCU mainly shows Earth 616? Several Marvel adaptations with different stories than in the comics (Earth 616 to be precise) are considered different universes with different numbers. May was an old woman in the comics (Earth 616). But she's a middle-aged woman in the MCU. Betty Brant had black hair in the comics, and was Peter Parker's first girlfriend (Earth 616). In the MCU, Betty has blonde hair, and instead of dating Peter, she dated Ned Leeds, who is based off of Ganke, a friend of Miles Morales, and Ned also replaced Harry Osborn. And Peter ended up dating Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson first. And there's another thing, MJ in the comics (Earth 616) was Mary Jane Watson. Mary Jane was white with red hair, and Michelle has brown hair with a similar skin tone as Hispanics. Now, that's not a bad thing, but it is one more difference between Earth 616 and the MCU.
It isn't really confirmed if Loki is holding the whole Multiverse together. It could just be that he's holding 616's (or 199999) sacred timeline and it's branches together, since that is what the loom was created for. He Who Remains said that he sealed off the sacred timeline (to prevent another multiversal war) from the rest of the multiverse, so that should be a given. But since the loom was destroyed the sacred timeline wasn't sealed off from the rest of the multiverse any longer and all of it's branches started to die. What Loki did was to become a new loom and hold it togther, but that would also mean that the sacred timeline merged with the multiveverse again (which is why the events in the NWH, MoM, The Marvels could happen). It was either that or watch all of his friends die and a bunch of innocent branched timelines die in the process. Because of Loki's actions the sacred timeline is now a part of the multiverse again and that means all the Kangs can now see it and access it again.
Technically, the MCU is Earth 199999. 616 is the main universe of the comics. The MCU throws in the 616 references because they want to please the fans, but even Miguel knew the truth when he said "Don't even get me started on Doctor Strange and the little nerd back on Earth 199999" when refferencing the events of No Way Home

I mean, it's possible that while surveying the MCU, they discovered Mysterio calling it 616 and assumed he was telling the truth. Even then, though, they would still be referring to the MCU by a number randomly assigned by Mysterio to make his story sound good

It’s Earth 199999 not 616. Peter B. Parker’s world is 616 of the Marvel Live-Action Multiverse (even though Spider-Verse is animated)
I like how this is just a guess and gets over half the facts wrong, claiming to be a reason
Earth 69 is a sus universe💀
He is only holding his universe
So nobody talking about the hulk 😮😅
What the Hell was Green lantern doing at the start of video
Their a lot of universes like earth *69*... Me: what universe is that? 😂
But…miguel called out NWH as occurring in E-19999. I thought 616 was the main comic continuity?
Why is no one talking about the Hulk 😂
The earth69💀
Multiverse God Loki is not from Earth 616.. the earth he came from no longer exists because the TVA pruned that reality after capturing Loki..
Wait 616 that's not Lokis universe. Remember the whole show started with a deviation in the timeline after the first avengers meaning this Loki never went back to Asgard and wasn't in prison for the dark world and so on. 🤔
This theory goes completely against everything we learned in Endgame. Sorry, this isn’t correct.
