You know one of the most important rules of Irish grammar I think i learned which totally helps with spelling is the broad to broad, slender to slender vowel rule. Obviously exceptions, like Gaeltacht. But otherwise, it really helped me. Might be useful to impart?
I love your voice in the English language or Irish language. If I read and infered correctly -Dane'- is your name. Well you're good at this I hope you can keep doing it more than awhile longer.
Yes allegedly so, but they can overlap, a family unit could potentially include children as well. I wasn't intending on getting into too much detail in this particular video.
@@LearnIrish I’m nearer Belfast than Derry city although in County Derry. Mid Ulster. Derry interesting city. I was in bogside January Bloody Sunday 50th commemoration. V sad. Coldest day ever but glad I went. Eamonn Mc cann introduced bernadette devlin McAliskey by saying that 50 years ago she was making a speech here but got interrupted by paratroopers opening fire so had come today to finish her speech! Was with a cousin who has been there in 72 as a student. Very welcoming ppl. Big Irish language revival going on. Classes everywhere and new Irish language schools. And also even in east Belfast where David irvines sister v committed to the language so am glad it’s not just those from Irish Catholic backgrounds.

Brilliant review
Context-based teaching like this is the best.
It's part of why learning in a foreign country happens faster.
Very true

Good luck.
Very good 👍
GRMA! Love it, please make more like this! 💪😁

The name is Dane, as in the Great Dane. Glad you found the videos useful and informative.
Loved this video!
Glad to hear that, I enjoyed making it 😊
I live in Ireland but speak English would love to learn irish
Go for it, what's stopping you?
There is a difference between Clann and Teaghlach. Clann just specifically means children now. Teaghlach is "household"

What county are u from Learn Irish? I’m from County Derry
Derry is a great place I'd love to visit, only problem is that it's almost the furthest county away from me in Wexford.
@@LearnIrish weird that only County I’ve not been to out of 32 is Wexford. We should maybe do a holiday house swap and meet in the midlands for a pint
Could do worse, I'd like to see the walls of Derry.

Go raibh mîle maith agat arís, a Dane(? . Cen t-ainm atá ort as Gaeilge?).
Míle fáilte, Dane Ó Tadgh an t-ainm atá orm as Gaeilge - Ó Tadgh is an ancient Gaelic name meaning son of the storyteller or philosopher.
An-úsáideach Dane.
Míle buíochas 🙂
Now you just need 4950 more words and you will be fluent !
go raibh maith agat, subbed
Míle buíochas
Ulster Irish pronunciation on family members entirely different
How?
so, is ''dunta beal'' a way of saying: be quiet?
Probably Dún do Bhéal I'd say, literally means shut your mouth
How do you say in Irish : Stop talking to me
Dún do bhéal
Learn Irish thanks so much, bless you have a great day!
