Apparently, some people who claim to be close to the film are saying Red isn’t a Kong but something older and more powerful…a titan killer. If that’s true, he could be the kaiju equivalent of The Predator. Something that hunts other titans for sport and takes trophies of its kills and now has its sights set on adding the skulls of two alpha titans to its collection.
@@onizuka255 Same. The idea of an evil Kong is cool and interesting but having something that exists higher on the pecking order than the Titans sounds a lot scarier.
I don’t think that this new villain is going to act alone. ‘The New Empire’ hints that he may perhaps have an army. The throne he’s sat on can support this theory more.
KDM hinted he has an ally and that there is a tribe like the iwi which prays to this titan. Also he said that this titan is faster, taller and stronger than both godzilla and kong. He also has powers that we have no clue about.
I can actually imagine Kong's species being amongst the most dangerous in the Monsterverse. they've shown to have human level intelligence with them building fortresses and crafting weapons as seen in the previous movie. some theorized they were capable of speech. the reason we haven't seen this yet is because the species went through a regression after the war with Godzilla's species. they were scattered and left with almost nothing, becoming almost feral. basically a reversed Tarzan where it's the apes living in the wild and becoming like animals. but these other Kongs survived, endured, and rebuilt. they held on to their ancient ways. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they could speak considering all we saw that they left behind in the previous movie. As they said, this planet never belonged to us humans. we were just keeping the seats warm. now here comes the Earth's true rulers to revive their empire. making Kong's species the biggest threat in the Monsterverse yet is one of their best ideas yet.
We have bombs and land destroying bombs but movie logics and ethics banned us form doing so. Edit: and alot of arsenal that could wipe titan that wasn't in the movies
Just would like to add that this isn’t true as Godzilla‘s Thermo nuclear state, which was actively melting buildings made of various materials and the possibility that he’s even partially as durable as some of his previous iterations, makes him strong enough to survive the meteor that killed the dinosaurs and the surrounding aftermath, which is much more devastating than any nuclear weapon. We have today unless you also don’t care about humanity, disappearing off the face of the Earth. Not to mention surviving the oxygen destroyer was much more of a feat than most people realized as it directly interfered with oxygen on the atomic level, making Godzilla survive an explosion ludicrously more powerful than you realize.
Just as an idea, this being an ancient kong means it probably survived the ancient titan war. What if it has armor made from dead Godzilla ancestors? Letting it shrug off atomic breath and use it as its own weapon while also making it difficult to physically smash through it, combined with it probably being very intelligent that seems like it would be enough to level the field
The funny thing is that Kong tried to grapple Godzilla during their fight. But he doesn't have the arms for it. Kongs a striker fighter. But this guy? He puts either Kong or Zilla in a headlock and he will strangle them to death
@@killswitch278 godzilla has thin arms compared to kong yet his arms are just as strong so that argument falls to the ground, remember this doenst exactly follow the real life logic
These videos are absolutely necessary for the monsterverse fans and we need this to understand what going on and how the titans work so in short we NEED this guy
i mean not really. all this video really said is its a third character and not kong and looks stronger. thats literally all that was said. just things i couldve inferred myself unless you havent seen fucking godzilla vs kong '62. braindead mfs.
I believe this will be the first titan that can speak or at least form broken sentences, and maybe our Kong and Godzilla will gain some new abilities, that may be helpful later in other movies. The reason why I think this is because we still have Space Godzilla, and Destroyah to worry about. Godzilla NEEDS to get stronger for those fights and It would just be embarrassing, and out of character for The God of Monsters to die to a super Ape.
I don’t think they will get that far in the timeline .. I think this a new start for these franchises.. those monsters were iconic especially destroyah, but not for this franchise I feel … it’s gonna be too much for me if this thing can talk …
I think this is closer to the reality than OP's speculations. I think the glowing eyes indicate intelligence. We know that brain to mass ratio is used to quantify intelligence. Humans have overly large brains for their body sizes. Other animals have LARGER brains but not in the same ratio and most animals with brains much larger than ours (like some great apes and marine mammals like whales dolphins and also elephants) are known to be extremely intelligent. A giant ape would probably be pretty smart. Kong is smarter than your avg great ape, but not human-level smart. This ape could be Lex Luthor smart. Its intelligence compared to humans' could be like ours' compared to apes'. If it's significantly smarter than humans and a thousand yrs old, and nearly as strong as Kong (but a more savy, experienced fighter than kong) it could be much more deadly than kong. Idk how. It can't exactly manufacture stuff. Even basic fabrication would be difficult for something so large. Our most advanced tech is extremely small and we can only do that with machines. A lone human - regardless of how smart - could not make a computer. It requires many people (from multiple nations) with many different specialties just to make the machines used to make the chips that power computers.
I think it would be neat if this guy is more of a Kong rival than a Godzilla rival. Perhaps Godzilla comes to help against the minions or Servants of the evil Kong while he lets Kong battle this older one to earn his title as "King" Kong.
I think its like an ancestor of Kong, probably staying in the hollow earth, it has become some mutated version, thus the red hair, and its skinny compared to Kong because of the lack of food
Given that Legendary Kong has only had one solo outing, it'd be more fitting, especially since GvK's final villain was obviously more of a traditional Godzilla opponent.
yeah thats way better than both of them being weaker it should be a kong based movie where kongs on his own he went back to the hollow earth to learn more and he meets that guy and has to battle an army and is losing and that guy comes out and whoops him but then his pal godzilla comes to play and they win together
I would just like to add the fact that we don’t have a good scale compared to this kaiju, as his position is rather hunched, so he could be much bigger than initially thought, although not to a crazy degree like a Ghidorah.
This is probably the "Emperor of monsters" a step above kings such as Kong and Godzilla, his power likely comes from strategy, wisdom and resourcefulness rather than brutal strength yet he is still a force of nature like other Alpha level titans in combat. Inb4 it's Kong's grandfather or ancestor that somehow orchestrated many of the events throughout the Monsterverse from Kong's childhood hardships (to nurture a fresh blood) to King Ghidorah awakening and subsequent defeat (eliminating a potential rival) in order to reclaim the surface world and bring about another Titan empire... or something like that lol!
@@lynxfresh5214 while I agree I think that this was probably an old emporer trying to keep the old ways that wants to kill Kong because he is getting new ideas leading to the new empire, also I think this has a strong possibility to be true as then we could get a scene at the end where Kong gets called King Kong
It's interesting to watch this now that the movie released. Skar King is an excellent villain, he's mean, cruel, cunning and extremely smart. And even though he wasn't the strongest titan, he was powerful enough to enslave others and even Shimo. I did hoped to hear an explanation regarding his glowing eyes, but maybe we'll get it in a comic or series.
I can imagine a scene where it shows Godzilla and Kong being in that huge place that Kong sought out in the under earth. They would just be walking and exploring and like call eachother out saying “ay I found a clue” or “found something.” It would be just so awesome.
I would just say The Evil dude… may or may not have some kind of Shock wave that the MUTOs have aka the EMP but it’s different it’s like an *Energy Shock wave!*
Dude looks weak asF just look at his french fries arm so technically to defeat Godzilla and Kong he have to has this thing Super intelligence, Army or Power otherwise he won't last than second
If anyone remembers, Kong took his place on a throne in GvK. At no doubt there's a high chance the throne was already occupied by Red here. My guess is, the movie will incorporate a fight between the two over the throne.
Unlikely. The axe is actually a Gojira spine plate, that's why it can be empowered by atomic breath, and why the etchings on the ground around where Kong empowered the axe the first time looked like a Gojira. Based on the paintings we see, it's likely the Kongs created axes out of Gojiras they fought and killed. My belief is that the Kongs ultimately lost the war with the Gojiras are fled to Skull Island, since they're stronger on land, and the island seemed to hide Kong's existence from Godzilla, the second he left the island, Godzilla was on him like white on rice. The Skullcrawlers followed them, eventually, and killed all but one Kong, ours. The throne Kong sits in is completely different from the one in the trailer, as Kong's throne was completely solid, whereas this one is hollow in the middle. The back of Kong's throne was the central pillar of the Kong Temple, that throne simply can't be it.
@@avalond1193 incorrect. Look up "Kong's Temple", the throne there is carved into the central pillar of the Temple, doesn't have a hollow back like this one.
I like how in official crossover films. After the first film, the next step is to combine the two. First we had the Predalien, now we have this hybrid between Godzilla & Kong. I hope this trope goes all vs films.
Let’s say both of the Godzilla and kong skulls at the end aren’t our beloved titans, that implies he’s killed both species among many more in his past alone
That’s what I thought too, could be a different kong and Godzilla that he killed for like a trophy or something, I mean there was a godzilla skeleton that the humans have found, why won’t there be any down there?
All I can say is please keep these films coming; I am enjoying it! We've came a long way from a man wearing a ape and lizard costume and Styrofoam buildings. I'm glad I lived long enough to see this!😊😊😊😊 It is also being said there will be a fourth titan.
I am literally certain that Red is the Kong from the OG Godzilla vs king Kong. He's got the fur and potentially the electricity powers, as discussed in this video.
Nahhh thats lame we came to see big monke and big lizard fight big red monke not big red monke being sympathetic and explaining its motives like Thanos.
I kinda hope not I mean want him to be smart if he's gonna take on both of these monsters but I don't think they would even be able to understand him 🤔
I'm thinking the skulls we saw were from the previously alluded to conflicts between Godzilla's and Kong's race, and were put there to underscore exactly how ancient this new Titan is. Also, I firmly believe Kong lost to Godzilla because he just wasn't old enough. I feel like Kong can grow a bit bigger, and if you give him that, along with a significant amount of time to master and understand the Axe he's only just found, then maybe the Kong V Godzilla fight wouldn't have been so humiliating. My poor guy had only just received the only weapon that would be really effective against the G-Man, and they knock it out of his hands for 80% of the fight 😢
It would be interesting if this Titan is related to Kong's species and gives Kong a chance to learn about his origins and we get some background history into the Kong vs Godzilla battles. What I could see happening is that Kong initially befriends this Titan but gets wrapped up in a choose your species or your friend rivalry. While in general these titan movies go for bigger badder, I could see them going for a war/battle amongst titans. This ancient Kong with a troupe of Kong's using weapons and trying to overtake Godzilla, Kong and several other titans seen in King of the Monsters.
I think this new monk boi absorbed all the titans energy that he killed as a way to survive and get more powerful (Like Kai do in Kung Fu Panda 3). This can even be a reason why he is a trouble to Gojira, may he absorb the atomic breath or don't get injured like Kong did.
I think monkee will be an ancient titan who is responsible for creating martial arts. He will Bruce Lee Kong and Godzilla and then hammerfist them until they tap. Then the earth will open and the spirit of Kimbo Slice will possess Kong and give him the fighting ability needed to defeat Martial Arts Monkee 💪
I don't know why, but I get the idea that this Kong is simply the very grizzled leader of a troupe of similar Kong's. Seeing how the title of the movie is "the new empire" it gives the idea of an uprising of some kind, and we know there are still many undiscovered species of kaiju in the hollow earth. It could be that his species was weakened by the kaiju war, then pushed into the hollow earth by the Kong species. This would explain why he is even going after Kong and Godzilla. He would want both revenge and to see his species retake Thier old home, so killing both is the best solution. Even with the mysterious energy's of the hollow earth, I have a hard time believing this guy alone could take down the Godzilla - Kong team up, combined with human assistance, so the playing field could be eavend out by adding troupe members.
Ye, I already am getting a picture of a character similar to Atriox from Halo: Infinite, a brutish but intelligent and cunning leader of a forgotten faction that’s just now emerging to take over
My thought is that this new character might be trying to overthrow Kong as the King of the Hollow Earth. It would kinda fit the name of the title I think and probably explain why it'd fight against Kong.
Yeah and my theory is he is a evil relative from Kong like cousin/uncle and he was sent to exile a long time ago by the royal Kong family, and he's coming back for kong
I think it's the other way around. He's already the reigning brutal and sadistic King of Hollow Earth and this Kong dude turns up and is basically a threat to his reign.
My theory (and hope) is that this kong is going to be just *one* of the main antagonists for the movie and that the main colossal threat to both humanity and all the titan species I feel could potentially be that winged gojira we’ve seen in the that cave art from the gvk art book. I feel like if the idea is true that this kong turned against it own kind for power and become an alpha titan and how in the novelization of gvk jia mentions the winged gojira (I think) and how it was power hungry and turned against its own kind leading both the kongs and gojiras to fight it. Maybe we’ll get a 2v2 end all be all fight (probably won’t be “a fight to end all monsterverse fights” cuz we will all likely want more after this movie if it does well) between our Kong and Godzilla and this Old titan killing kong and the power hungry winged gojira. I think that would be insanely awesome.
What would be super intimidating is if when Godzilla meets this new titian, he thinks the atomic breath would be the best option to start, seeing how much it hurt Kong before. But when he tries it, the new titan just tanks the hit without flinching. That would be something to fear.
Another point to bring up, even though trying to find the information on it is scarce, Kong by comparison to Godzilla is a child. His innocent demeanor and curiosity shows he is young for a titan, that's why Godzilla is stronger then he is. This new villain could be an ancestor much older than both Kong and Godzilla and knows of the history of each others species.
Great breakdown from the trailer. I always love you hypotheses animations, they're so good. Also imagine if the new villain/titan has those electrical powers, but can use them like the Hulk. Hulk smash when he hits the floor with his fists to make earthquakes or clapp his hands together to create Shockwaves. The new titan using these moves but with electricity. Maybe that's one way to to defeat the G-man. Electrical shockwaves that cancels out Godzillas atomic breathe sharge.
Alright, hear me out. What if this Kong isn’t alone, and putting him right at the beginning of marketing is to let our guards down for another important villain?
If that's true i hope it's gonna be Spacegodzilla since the cave painting hinted the existence of a Godzilla specimen that could fly which caused the Godzillas and Kongs to put aside their differences to fight it
@@montelwilliams6107 I hope so. Destroyah looked absolutely amazing in 1995, I can't even begin to imagine just how awesome and terrifying he would look in 2024.
@@darkemperortheobscureone694 Not to mention, Spacegodzilla could be using some form of telepathy or power to manipulate and mind-control this big red kong.
I could be really wrong but I think this Red Kong has attributes from both Godzilla and Kong which one being aromic breath which could explain Red Kong 's blue eyes because when Godzilla charges up his atomic breath his eyes start to turn blue ( My small theory: It could also be theorized that Kong might master the atomic breath too which is pretty unlikely but just to make sure of everything) ( I edited this before 5:17 because this video didn't think of Red Kong using atomic breath)
So many possibilities here from what we’ve seen, and it’s a lot to take in. Would it be too far fetched to think of this Kong like Lockdown or the Berserker Predator? Either hunting for pure sport or because some bigger threat wants Godzilla and Kong for a particular reason? I mean, this Kong may very well try to sway our guy to his side to help with whatever plans he’s got for Godzilla, but he won’t turn.
5:49 Oh, God... so much potential ! I could see the obvious electric touch, while also, the ability to create located explosions to a certain range right under the opponent (considering flying is definitely not Godzilla strong point lol) but to go even beyond (regarding the fact that the energy is present in even the floating rocks), straight-up earth bending on a landscape scale ! Imagine that guy literally throwing low key meteors to the GK duo !!
Another note is that ghidorah had an energy draining power. If this new titan has an ability to generate and manipulate that power, I wonder if somehow ghidorah could be involved.
or it can be a experiment by humans which mutated it giving powers of both kong and godzilla which failed and he was thrown to hollow world and now he wants revenge from humans and kong and godzilla will save this invasion i know if this happens i will kill the story writer
Wow. As soon as I saw him I knew he was going to be the sickest villain, the idea of him representing a orangutan instead of a gorilla like kong is also pretty cool.
I think that this Kong is battle hardened, wise, experienced and most of all ruthless. He just may have abilities or powers thanks to the blue stuff in their world and I don't think he'll be fazed at all when Kong and Godzilla take him on at once. One thing is for sure, this one will be interesting
Disclaimer! I am team Goji. That being said I actually love this idea because it adds to Kong’s lore as well as the monsterverse as well as Godzilla himself. You can go all day with all the rouges gallery Goji has. Kong was in desperate need of more lore/rouges. I mean you can count them on your hands Skullcrawler, Warbat, Camatos, Trex/Vrex, Godzilla, Mechanical Kong, octopus. I don’t need to list Gojis rouge gallery. This was the right and smart move by Legendary. CANT WAIT!
Yeah, I agree with the theory that this "Kong" is a survivor of the "Zilla and Kongs War", a sort of super smart soldier or even commander...I think that now it's a sort of bounty hunter and wants to kill the last survivors... Maybe he's a contender of the Hollow Earth's throne 🤔... Btw, whoever he will be, I'm so excited to see another Monsterverse movie 🔥🔥😂
I am wondering how Kong changed over the years. Did he get bigger and more familliar with his axe ? Because in GvsK he just picked it up and swong around like crazy but in this movie it could be that he actually knows how to really fight with it.
Honestly, id like to see Kong have a new weapon or weapons hes made in Hollow Earth to combat the native Kaiju there. Spears for sure, maybe some armor like a buckler or shoulder pad made from a skull, and maybe a sword of sorts that resembles that aztec or mayan saw blade sword.
I like the idea of this new creature being similar to Kong, but has harnessed some kind of power that Kong will learn to use himself to put the two monsters on equal footing in later movies for a possible rematch.
For anyone familiar w/ Monster Hunter, imagine this guy possesing a lightning rage form like Rajang. For those that aren't familiar, Rajang is a gorilla like creature with the horns and temper of an enraged bull that wields lightning. When enraged its lightning flairs into a sparking coat and it's fur and muscles harden like reinforced steel. Not only that, but it's mobility, strength, and aggression shoot through the roof. Assuming this "Elder Kong" has something even remotely like that, I can totally see it being a major threat for the G-Man and Kong.
I hate Rajang, why does that tiny monkey deserve to be so stupidly strong that he is able to pry open The Pickles jaws. I also don’t like how he is just unaffected by Gunlance stuff.
@FallenTerrarian We have a very love/hate relationship lol. On the one hand, it's a b@#$% to hunt. On the other hand "MONKE MAD!" xd. Lore wise though, it's not different then things like deviljho, the gold/silver raths, etc... It's an ultra-apex species that edges into the realm of the elder dragon but hasn't quite universally evolved enough to fully transcend to that level of existence.
I had a theory of the eyes of the new titan. What if those eyes could hold the same ability as King Ceaser from the old movies who had a similar muscular build, he could have the ability to absorb atomic attacks from enemies into his eyes and redirect them. Who knows maybe this is Ceaser😂
I think it would be cool if the new monster was a good amount taller than the G man and Kong. Would definitely help give him more of a intimidation factor.
Agreed. It would help balance out his leaner frame but it would also work well as a design choice. Having this tall almost skeletal figure with glowing eyes looking down at Godzilla and Kong would feel very intimidating and fit well with the stronger horror themes the teaser seems to be hinting at.
The problem with that is, they modeled Kong 99% after a gorilla. Even children instantly know what primate Kong is. Why make Kong's design an instantly recognizable real-world species if they aren't going to follow real-world species rules lol? Zebras don't give birth to horses and snakes don't give birth to eels. And gorillas don't give birth to chimpanzees. Why would Kongs relatives or ancestors not be gorillas? You know how stupid it would be if they had a prequel scene in this movie that showed Kong's mother was a spider monkey lol? I think if they had done something like a giant baboon for a villain, they could have pulled off. Baboons are scary AF. It really just looks like their mishmashing together a monkey that looks like nothing else we have in the real world which is kind of unexciting when you think of all the established Kaiju they could've brought to the big screen.
@@pwd1134 ITs kong so yes they make him a gorilla has been one forever. This is a villain so the villain shouldn't be a copy-and-paste Kong race. Also, Kong race isn't what his name is. It's what we call it Hell, his whole race could be called the homo something Titan. Also as the video speaker says. Kong races doesn't need to be just one version of primates. ITs clearly a Ape of some sort and Kong's race are only known ape like race
@@pwd1134 Dude, it’s an orangutan. Just a cousin species of the Kongs like how orangutans are in real life to gorillas. Both are primates and share a common ancestor.
@@pwd1134 First of all, of course Kongs ancestors aren't going to be gorillas if you go far enough back. Secondly, that's not even what was said. They compared the new thing to a COUSIN to kong, not an ancestor. You know, pretty much how it is in real life with gorillas and orangutan
Awesome speculation video! You guys really did an amazing job bringing up good points from older movies where Kong used electricity to consider possible abilities for this new mysterious Red ape-like villain! I'm more hyped to see where they go with this next movie! I've been a fan of the Legendary Monsterverse since day 1 and I can't wait to see more!!!
Me personally, I think there will be 2 villains in this film, the orange monke and the flying gogira thing, bc I just don’t see that a orange monke with “powers” can be the only villain, I’d just think that would be hilarious seeing the g man zap it with his atomic breath.
I have a feeling that this Kong is gonna have a personal connection with godzilla, which will cause godzilla to do that berserk beam spam and crawling only to get his ass whooped by the Kong since it has slain Godzillas before.
He could also be a member of the Kong Species with such a burning hatred for Gojira that he would even consider Kong an enemy upon seeing the two not fighting each other.
That seems possible. From what we know, Godzilla was THERE during the war. He probably killed lots of Kong’s family members, and saw his ancestors kill his(Godzilla’s) family. He’ll probably remember this orangutan Kong, having seen him before. Perhaps flashbacks will happen. Both the Kongs and the Gojiras possess human level intelligence. We shall see.
Kong may be relieved to learn that he isn't alone anymore and that he has "family" when returning to the Hollow world. This'll create discourse between Godzilla and Kong's brief alliance, until Kong realizes the king of this "family" isn't so friendly after all, especially when the king's weapon was taken from a corpse and shown waltzing up in Kong's hand. Perhaps the reason Kong was alone on Skull Island was because of this new Titan. Look at all those skeletons and bones! All the ones back on the island, too. There's no way skullcrawlers took out all those mighty kongs. Remember where they came from, too? Deep within ground? Super interesting! Besides, we can't forget the scene of those things in the sky that Kong ripped apart with the assistance of HEAVS? Very strange encounter to never see happen again, and those skulls look mighty familiar. There has to be a bigger power at play, one that dates back so far it won't be comprehensible for humans. A power that this ancient Titan (perhaps Killer) wields? Wonder if humans can assist this time when it has nothing to do with technology. If that's even the case. Oh! I can't forget, humans seem to DO help out! Look at that modification on Kong's forearm/hand. Does it hint for some type of required armor to battle this new (or millennia old) foe? Maybe humans enriched Kong with a buff of his own? Or did he sustain an injury that required a prosthetic with it's own minor advantages with it? Enough theory rambling, I am so stoked with the direction this franchise is taking! It seems to be becoming the new "old" Kaiju movies, and making their own path. I feel like a little kid again playing Godzilla games on the PS2.
I like the "lightning" ability but by just looking at the trailer it looks like the new titan is sitting on a throne I would assume he is a king or ruler and that his powers more in the mental side like "mind control" this would make it even more powerful. Kind of how Ghidorah controlled or commanded the other titans but way more powerful
well done goji, yet another amazing vid, i would love to see some Ark dinos in your videos or battle face offs because i think they would be an awesome match for smaller sub-titans
I find it interesting that all the theories regarding this teaser always ignore the bones implication or just treat it as "kills". The scene suggests that this new titan is a CANNIBAL, that he EATS other titans. The war paint is more likely blood from feeding, the red light is probably meant to suggest the same thing. The "too lean" frame of him also suggests this as (since human flesh isn't very nutritious and is usually only attempted in starvation settings) is another visual indicator of cannibalism. While the call back to Kong's electical powers is good, visually, this new titan is more reminiscent to one of the monsters of "War of the Gargantuas" which while the orange/brown monster was the good guy in that film, the movie did featured a cannibalic ape-man type monster. I think this new titan is drawing general inspiration from that movie.
I LOVE the idea that it knows some form of martial arts. Not even based on human martial arts but all its own: Something to separate him from Godzilla and Kong who just throw their weight around.
None of those two throw their weight around. Both are expert fighters using their bodies to their advantage and use their opponents bodies against them. Godzilla will grab a muto by the neck and breath fire down it's unarmored insides. Kong has been shown to use weaponry even more expertly than most human soldiers. This is the kind of sentiment I see from people who think trained fighters only fight in flashy eye catchy nonsense you see in anime. They do not. You waste as little movement as possible for the most power.
@@loowick4074 In the latest movie, during their third fight, Godzilla literally threw himself at Kong and smashed into a building. He fought by getting on all four legs and snapping like an alligator. While Kong does use tools and is more agile, he does still prefer to leap on an enemy and hit them on the head more than anything else. I'm talking about a Kong that hits weak points, who know how to grapple, reverse an attack, and has a more finesse when it comes to hand to hand combat.
If I remember right; the novelization of Godzilla Vs. Kong also made reference to a Godzilla who ate a star that fell from the heavens and turned evil with terrifying powers. Sounds like a revamped Space Godzilla origin to me, so maybe the Red Kong did something similar to fight.
I was hoping you'd bring up that deleted scene from GvK where there was the mural of the flying Godzilla who turned evil because he swallowed a star. My theory is that this new Kong-like villain might have done something similar, but turned evil because he couldn't handle that much power and turned insane.
We always hear about the different types of Godzilla, but we never think about the different kinds of kongs that could exist. The first thing I thought of when looking at the new titan was an orangutan because of the long arms and red hair. And now that I think about it, Legendary can simply take different species of primate, like spider monkeys for example. It’s cool to think of a civilization of different kinds of kongs, certain species specializing in different jobs like hunting or building. Can’t wait to see what Legendary does with this new titan!
The Godzilla Especies Has variants like a variant of Godzilla Ultima, idk but imagine if Godzilla Dies but he lays a Egg that Kong Starts to Raise the Son of Godzilla, being the new Godzilla Being the Own Son of Legendary
Ghidorah is strong againts Rodan, and Godzilla. And maybe Kong. But.. but... This Kong is intelligent and possible have an energy of the hollow earth. How could Kong stand a chance with the same intelligence plus this new titan have a power of hollow earth? So that's why they put Godzilla to he another ally with Kong againts the new titan. I hope to see Rodan againts helping them in the upper part of earth if somethings bad happen on the hollow earth. Like if some strong enemies came out of hollow earth to brought a disaster in the upper earth. So Rodan gonna defend it from them. While Kong and Godzilla searching to this powerful new Titan.
right? a new great ape kaiju sounds dope as fuck, especially an smart af orangutan, i imagine not as phsycially intimidating as kong but a kaiju actually able to scheme and plot sounds devious
I definitely think that this titan would have a grappling fighting style, and that it will probably throw things from far away, it also has the reach advantage which the other two don't have.
i think it'll be smart af, orangutan's are the smartest great ape and while kong is shown as "intelligent", he's never really been shown as particularly "smart" imo, maybe this one has had to plot and scheme to survive much more thus making it smarter
Maybe this kong type of species titan might use weapons like the kong's axes made from other kaiju specifically gojiras , but instead it could use something like spears with the bones in a way. Just imagine kong comes into the territory of this new titan without knowing if there was anything there and all the sudden a huge spear lands by him and this giant lanky giant shows itself in the intent to probably kill from what we know for now.
During the first GvK I felt like it was a battle for the thrown the whole time, and even felt like we got plenty of hints that the kongs and godzillas have been fighting for that thrown for awhile. So maybe this is like the actual king waking up from all the ruckus?
Tbh, there were already plenty of other axes seen in the hollow earth, that were used to lit up the throne. I don’t think the one Kong picked would specifically have any relation to Lanky Kong.
I think the giant new guy used to be part of the Kong tribe, and was fighting the leader for dominance, but it got so badly damaged he abandoned the tribe and was feeding off the blue energy. Now it sits in anger waiting.
yeah something like that, I would suggest the idea of that titan was the reason that the kongs and zillas in the process like mentioned in the video. seeing how this titan gained power, the zillas became concerned about it and wanted to prevent more of these abominations because the primates or at least this one could have trespassed to the territory of the zillas and potentially stealing from their source of power(or something like the situation shown in GvK with the axe situation) and seeing how this could threaten the existence the zillas made the first move and attacked his tribe or at least what was thought to be his tribe seeing how he was also a primate they attacked the kongs. and with this misunderstanding the war began, and since it was not his tribe if he did not abandon the tribe, it explains the reason why he managed to survive.
It could be kinda like scar type thing red is kongs uncle and was outed from the family for some reason (treason probably) he went off got a power up came back did work. Killed kongs family thought he killed baby kong and dipped out to the inner eart.
One of the theory i had is that this guy could speak languages, specifically human languages Because in all the movie so far, human always has a connection to these fights, so i'd like to think that this titan might have instigated some human to aid him in battle after seeing how they tried to stand up to Godzilla

Hmmmmmmm I like this Angle more
@@onizuka255 Same. The idea of an evil Kong is cool and interesting but having something that exists higher on the pecking order than the Titans sounds a lot scarier.
I agree
Man that’s a great take. I love it and that would be awesome asf. A Titian killer bc it’s never been done in the Monster-verse
Predator Kong sounds so cool
I don’t think that this new villain is going to act alone. ‘The New Empire’ hints that he may perhaps have an army. The throne he’s sat on can support this theory more.
I’d like this new titan to be more of a corrupt king who doesn’t fight his battles, where instead he lets his other titans do his bidding.
KDM hinted he has an ally and that there is a tribe like the iwi which prays to this titan. Also he said that this titan is faster, taller and stronger than both godzilla and kong. He also has powers that we have no clue about.
@@tong6644 That would be not fun
@@justanordinarynoob267 Kind of bad theory in my opinion 😅
a titan war where the armies are literal titans in hollow earth wuld be insane
With nuclear weapons nothing is a threat
I’ve seen this comment on dangervile
@@marcgid1174 the thermo nuclear state was the most plot armor thing ive seen
Just as an idea, this being an ancient kong means it probably survived the ancient titan war. What if it has armor made from dead Godzilla ancestors? Letting it shrug off atomic breath and use it as its own weapon while also making it difficult to physically smash through it, combined with it probably being very intelligent that seems like it would be enough to level the field
He’s definitely got a reach advantage over Kong with those long arms. I’m excited to find out more of this villain💯
The funny thing is that Kong tried to grapple Godzilla during their fight. But he doesn't have the arms for it. Kongs a striker fighter. But this guy? He puts either Kong or Zilla in a headlock and he will strangle them to death

The world needs him
i mean not really. all this video really said is its a third character and not kong and looks stronger. thats literally all that was said. just things i couldve inferred myself unless you havent seen fucking godzilla vs kong '62. braindead mfs.
Eeyup.
I think this a new start for these franchises.. those monsters were iconic especially destroyah, but not for this franchise I feel … it’s gonna be too much for me if this thing can talk …
it's BEAST TITAN 😂
I would hate if it talked but I agree that they should continue to to develop Godzilla and Kong for later movies
Don't forget Kaiser Ghidorah, the strongest Ghidorah so far.
I hope the other titans also have at least a bit of a role in this movie, i need to see Metuselah do something
EXACTLY
you do realize the movie title is “Godzilla x Kong” and not “Metuselah”, right? 😂
@@lmao7923 thats a really dumbass thing to say, by that logic, every movie with a supporting character has to have their name in the title
@@lmao7923 Yeah and "Godzilla: King Of The Monsters" had way more monsters important to the plot than just Godzilla.
I just wanna see Behemoth
I think it would be neat if this guy is more of a Kong rival than a Godzilla rival. Perhaps Godzilla comes to help against the minions or Servants of the evil Kong while he lets Kong battle this older one to earn his title as "King" Kong.
i think that’s a really good theory
I think its like an ancestor of Kong, probably staying in the hollow earth, it has become some mutated version, thus the red hair, and its skinny compared to Kong because of the lack of food
Given that Legendary Kong has only had one solo outing, it'd be more fitting, especially since GvK's final villain was obviously more of a traditional Godzilla opponent.
And since iirc, this version of Kong has not been called "king" yet, so it works
yeah thats way better than both of them being weaker it should be a kong based movie where kongs on his own he went back to the hollow earth to learn more and he meets that guy and has to battle an army and is losing and that guy comes out and whoops him but then his pal godzilla comes to play and they win together
I would just like to add the fact that we don’t have a good scale compared to this kaiju, as his position is rather hunched, so he could be much bigger than initially thought, although not to a crazy degree like a Ghidorah.
He's probably at least as tall as Godzilla
I can see him being taller than Kong but around the same height as Godzilla.
Ghidorah was Hostile Invader whomever Red is he maybe Earths version of Ghidorah

If anyone remembers, Kong took his place on a throne in GvK. At no doubt there's a high chance the throne was already occupied by Red here. My guess is, the movie will incorporate a fight between the two over the throne.
I think that is this red kongs throne. And I think this new kong can self charge that axe. That thrown was never kongs.
Godzilla is the king still godzilla never ruled the hollow earth Kong just claimed that land
@@jtking2710 but he's lives out of howlow earth he is not the king of holow earth
Kong is the king of hollow earth and godzilla is the king of the monsters
Maybe one of red king weapons is the axe and he wants it back.
Maybe the new villain is the true owner or creator of the axe that Kong used during the fight against Godzilla.
That sounds very likely as well this red Kong throne was the one Kong sat on

Did you do a react to this?
It would be interesting if this Titan is related to Kong's species and gives Kong a chance to learn about his origins and we get some background history into the Kong vs Godzilla battles. What I could see happening is that Kong initially befriends this Titan but gets wrapped up in a choose your species or your friend rivalry. While in general these titan movies go for bigger badder, I could see them going for a war/battle amongst titans. This ancient Kong with a troupe of Kong's using weapons and trying to overtake Godzilla, Kong and several other titans seen in King of the Monsters.
Well they actually did give a bit about kongs past he’s the last known survivor of his species because of a war with other titans

I think this new monk boi absorbed all the titans energy that he killed as a way to survive and get more powerful (Like Kai do in Kung Fu Panda 3). This can even be a reason why he is a trouble to Gojira, may he absorb the atomic breath or don't get injured like Kong did.
oh, what’s next? he’s gonna take out some amulets out of his belt, tell them to “round them all up” and yeet them across the Earth to cause havoc?
@@TheSoullessImmortal I think he will tell them to "Find Godzilla's students and bring them to me"

The theme playing should be Orangakongs' theme 😂

But this is an ancient Kong. It could be that he used to be a king before and now he's come back to reclaim it
Then godzilla fly in out of no where doing his thing in hollow
Yeah and my theory is he is a evil relative from Kong like cousin/uncle and he was sent to exile a long time ago by the royal Kong family, and he's coming back for kong
I think it's the other way around. He's already the reigning brutal and sadistic King of Hollow Earth and this Kong dude turns up and is basically a threat to his reign.
I think he was hiding from kong king
He has no style, and he has no grace, but this Kong has a funny face!
Yeah I hope that happens. Not sure about a straight 2v2 though because these villains are meant to be a threat to all living creatures.
That would be very cool a 2v2
Imagine if The giant Winged Godzilla is Space Godzilla or Ultima Final form
Your teory makes senses.
You are definitely right. It won't be fighting alone most likely. Hopefully Gigan or Battra get added as a side villain to team up with him
What would be super intimidating is if when Godzilla meets this new titian, he thinks the atomic breath would be the best option to start, seeing how much it hurt Kong before. But when he tries it, the new titan just tanks the hit without flinching. That would be something to fear.

Godzilla, Kong and I would piss ourselves if that scene happens in the movie
Then Godzilla and King realized. Their basically fighting against an ancient old gods of the Titans. Their own ancestors.
I was literally thinking this
Mans a stick compared to Kong so I doubt he's gonna tank it
They’re maybe 2 villains. 1 being a Kong like creature and a Godzilla like creature like the one in the cave painting

That's what I'm thinking. There's no way there's only gonna be 1 big bad guy in this.

@@xx0t4kuxx99 don’t forget mega Godzilla destroy godzilla
For anyone familiar w/ Monster Hunter, imagine this guy possesing a lightning rage form like Rajang. For those that aren't familiar, Rajang is a gorilla like creature with the horns and temper of an enraged bull that wields lightning.
When enraged its lightning flairs into a sparking coat and it's fur and muscles harden like reinforced steel. Not only that, but it's mobility, strength, and aggression shoot through the roof.
Assuming this "Elder Kong" has something even remotely like that, I can totally see it being a major threat for the G-Man and Kong.
I love Rajang in Monster Hunter. The fact you have all these powerful dragons and Rajang competes with them because "It's a monkey, and its ANGRY"
I hate Rajang, why does that tiny monkey deserve to be so stupidly strong that he is able to pry open The Pickles jaws. I also don’t like how he is just unaffected by Gunlance stuff.
Thought of Rajang - immediately got a " furious" headache 🤣🤣🤣
@FallenTerrarian We have a very love/hate relationship lol. On the one hand, it's a b@#$% to hunt. On the other hand "MONKE MAD!" xd.
Lore wise though, it's not different then things like deviljho, the gold/silver raths, etc... It's an ultra-apex species that edges into the realm of the elder dragon but hasn't quite universally evolved enough to fully transcend to that level of existence.
And the fact that the Rajang are inspired off of Saiyans from DBZ
I once saw John Wick kill three titans with a pencil. A f***ing pencil.
@@steve94183 Im predicting this new villain will be taller than Mecha but not as tall as Ghidorah.

It's probably a cousin of Kong. They're all primates but not necessarily gorillas. It's probably an orangutan type subspecies.
@@pwd1134they could explain it by saying that they both evolved from a common ancestor and could use that more in the future too
@@pwd1134 ITs kong so yes they make him a gorilla has been one forever. This is a villain so the villain shouldn't be a copy-and-paste Kong race. Also, Kong race isn't what his name is. It's what we call it

Yes

I think scar king was an outcast due to his red colour so he probably starterd the kong vs gojira war
Me personally, I think there will be 2 villains in this film, the orange monke and the flying gogira thing, bc I just don’t see that a orange monke with “powers” can be the only villain, I’d just think that would be hilarious seeing the g man zap it with his atomic breath.
The red Kong zapping Godzilla in a confrontation would be funny af lol
He shoots lightning from his fingers and shouts "SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG"
Agreed There has to be another monster in this movie that's a bigger threat
Maybe they have a hive mind or something...
Kong fights CEASER and Godzilla takes on biolante come toho fans if there will be 2 villains but I believe the Kong type is CEASER
I have a feeling that this Kong is gonna have a personal connection with godzilla, which will cause godzilla to do that berserk beam spam and crawling only to get his ass whooped by the Kong since it has slain Godzillas before.
officially, this villian is none other than THE BEAST TITAN!
The trailer gives me the feeling he’s battled and earned his position and a secret power in the monster verse
well done goji, yet another amazing vid,
i would love to see some Ark dinos in your videos or battle face offs because i think they would be an awesome match for smaller sub-titans

Been waiting for your analysis on this
I find it interesting that all the theories regarding this teaser always ignore the bones implication or just treat it as "kills".
Nothing suggests it's eating them at all.
I thought the same “War of the Gargantuas” a lot of people forgot about those kaiju.
Titan isn't a species it's a title
Wouldn't count as cannibalism
bro I think you are right if you compare the old movie with the new makeover it kinda makes sense.
@@radvin1417 the thing is most of the bones looks like Kong species bones at least the heads before Godzilla bone, so it can
I love how you made ‘scar king’ smile now that’s true joker level Threat
I LOVE the idea that it knows some form of martial arts. Not even based on human martial arts but all its own: Something to separate him from Godzilla and Kong who just throw their weight around.
Kong doesn’t just throw his weight around, we see him put his hands up into a fighting stance, use weapons, and strategy.
No monster can beat the most op move by godzilla where he just flying straight forward like a rocket and kick the enemy lmao
Kinda like King Ceaser from the old movies
If I remember right; the novelization of Godzilla Vs. Kong also made reference to a Godzilla who ate a star that fell from the heavens and turned evil with terrifying powers. Sounds like a revamped Space Godzilla origin to me, so maybe the Red Kong did something similar to fight.

This gave me chills beyond anything I have ever felt
I definitely think that this titan would have a grappling fighting style, and that it will probably throw things from far away, it also has the reach advantage which the other two don't have.
Kinda like the beast titan from aot.
Like Beast Titan? That would be dope
AOT ended already bro chill 😂😂
So basically the beast titan from Attack on Titan
i think it'll be smart af, orangutan's are the smartest great ape and while kong is shown as "intelligent", he's never really been shown as particularly "smart" imo, maybe this one has had to plot and scheme to survive much more thus making it smarter
Look at how far our boy King Louie has gone 🥹

Plot twist new unknown titan has the ability of resistance to atomic breath
My guess is that the new kong is like the leader and is now angry bc kong took his axe
And also he seems to have made a pact with Godzilla
Nah, there were other axes in that throne room
Tbh, there were already plenty of other axes seen in the hollow earth, that were used to lit up the throne. I don’t think the one Kong picked would specifically have any relation to Lanky Kong.
I doubt he'd be angry because the axe hadn't been used for millenia.
So how they gonna retcon him in then
I think the giant new guy used to be part of the Kong tribe, and was fighting the leader for dominance, but it got so badly damaged he abandoned the tribe and was feeding off the blue energy. Now it sits in anger waiting.
That kiiinda sounds unrealistic but yeah interesting at the same time 🙃
yeah something like that, I would suggest the idea of that titan was the reason that the kongs and zillas in the process like mentioned in the video. seeing how this titan gained power, the zillas became concerned about it and wanted to prevent more of these abominations because the primates or at least this one could have trespassed to the territory of the zillas and potentially stealing from their source of power(or something like the situation shown in GvK with the axe situation) and seeing how this could threaten the existence the zillas made the first move and attacked his tribe or at least what was thought to be his tribe seeing how he was also a primate they attacked the kongs. and with this misunderstanding the war began, and since it was not his tribe if he did not abandon the tribe, it explains the reason why he managed to survive.
It could be kinda like scar type thing red is kongs uncle and was outed from the family for some reason (treason probably) he went off got a power up came back did work. Killed kongs family thought he killed baby kong and dipped out to the inner eart.
That's Tublat the gorilla from 'The Legend Of Tarzan.' I hope they don't go that route! 😂
One of the theory i had is that this guy could speak languages, specifically human languages
Because in all the movie so far, human always has a connection to these fights, so i'd like to think that this titan might have instigated some human to aid him in battle after seeing how they tried to stand up to Godzilla
it's BEAST TITAN 😂
