Maple has a story that will pull at your heart strings and make you fall in love. Pitbulls are often stereotyped and BSL is a common practice in many countries. Marley's Mutts dog rescue is doing an amazing job helping highlight pit bulls and other dogs that need a forever home.

I had a pitbull, she was the most cutest dog I ever saw, she never barked unless she took a bath, she was always so sweet. I had to move with my mom to another state for a while and I was heartbroken because the neighbors threatened to shoot her if they saw her. We had to find her a new home. But when we first got her, my mom was working at a tow truck company and was is a tow truck with the driver. He saw a dog outside getting kicked because she wasn't going to the bathroom quick enough. He had already had so many animals like it. Here didn't know what to do with her, mom offered to take her in and she came home that night and brought me my very own dog, Raven Star, my little sweetheart.

I have a pitbull rescue and a pitmix rescue- i have never been so loved, and their goofy personalities keep you laughing every day. If you want undimmed daily love and endless laughter, definitely rescue a pitbull! They are love and laughter personified.

Poor baby, makes me cry hearing any animal suffer or be in pain. She is so beautiful. We became a 501(c)(3) years ago. We tallied our spending one year as we were both still working people, it came to $10,000. Then we knew we had to get financial, physical etc help. God bless or animals and our animal lovers. Hi Maple, my name is Mario and I was SUPER lucky to find my forever home with my loving Mom. Like you, I was attacked my other doggos and dragged off to die. But I'm a FIGHTER, and I know you are too! My doctors took one of my front legs and half of my tail, but I can still do everything "normal" puppers can! Mom gets mad when I dig in the garden, but I know she's pretty proud that I CAN dig... and swim... and jump and run! Well, Mom want me to go outside and take care of some business, but you stay strong & I'm SURE you'll get LOTS of butterfly kisses from whomever is lucky enough to call you their forever fur baby. That type of law has been proven to serves no purpose other than to instill more irrational, undeserved fear and continues to cause the loss of life for thousands of adoptable and loving pit bulls every month. Within the first 15 seconds of your video I was crying at this beautiful girl. I live in England so a bit far to adopt her but also in this country her breed is band as people don't believe that a human could never teach a dog to act out of character, that it's the dogs themselves that want to hurt other animals.. I still can't believe that in this day and age awful humans still think that not just dogs but all animals don't have feelings, don't feel pain and don't create their own memories and all this impacts the way they see and the way they feel about humans in general. Until kind people come in to these animals lives and show them what it's like to be loved. Thank you to everyone who has helped little Maple heal, grow and know love.

Hi Lisa, just wanted to say how much I completely agree with everything that you have said. I too live in the UK, and hate the fact that our society still has such ridiculous and unwarranted laws banning this wonderful breed. Seriously, does our government not realise that there are actually many knowledgeable and responsible dog owners in the UK who would make great pitty “parents”??
I would genuinely LOVE to adopt Maple and make her part of my loving family. i know when i was looking at service dog breed types pit bulls were in the top 5 and my mom was like hell no. every pit bull i have ever know was more likely to kiss you to death than to bite. when i baby sat on the weekends the kids i was their nanny the neighbors kids would come over to watch a movie and i would be mushed on the couch by 2 pitties that wanted nothing more than to lay all over and get head scratches from me
