Idk, Black Ops was always more cinematic than Modern Warfare, but this just feels like a Fast & Furious Movie now. COD has distanced itself from reality a tad too much for my liking.

Maybe from a story standpoint i agree there. But gameplay wise modern warfare has always been more cinematic in my opinion. The nuke scene in cod 4, No Russian in MW2 and the plane/Eiffel tower collapse scene in MW3. Even if you take a look at the new modern warfare trilogy, the gameplay itself feels so cinematic, its difficult to tell from reality like the clean house mission in MW19.

But in bo3 the story where a riot and revolution happens in the us is Retconned in where Raul is still killed but no revolution happens but instead cordis die looks at Raul attempt to escape in a us military uniform as cowardly so cordis die fractured and destroyed itself.

Blew up a couple tankers of element 115 and that created the Nazi zombies. By the radio messages, they didn't actually make it through the night.

Really surprised by the negativity in the comments. This was a fantastic campaign, from the high octane fast and furious moments (which have been in the franchise for over a decade, come on guys) to them going above and beyond and adding those slow moments to chat with characters. It was all really polished and had blockbuster AAA quality throughout. I look forward to more of these campaigns.
I wish for once they would focus on just the campaign. Just for one game. I don’t even buy these games anymore because they just care about zombies and multiplayer. I’m sorry, but I like story mode. A great campaign story.

I love it when they put Case and Harrow as MIA rather than KIA. So, both might be potential returns for future franchises. I like Harrow's storyline. She is not a loss cause, perhaps traumatic experiences caused her to have split personalities like how the drug worked so well on her. And Case might be in the future enhanced super soldier of the CIA.
They send early copies to all of these channels about a month or so in advance and have a release date embargo until a certain time. The release embargo varies dramatically from company to company.

I can tell in the first 5 minutes that this is a really dumb campaign. 15 years ago when they made good CoD games, they actually cared to make it realistic. Instead now we have CIA operatives in Iraqi oilfields massacring a HVT’s escort, then immediately trusting said HVT at a words notice, going on to kill (former?) US citizens based on that HVT’s WORD indiscriminately, (for all they know it could just be a different coalition unit) willingly placing themselves into terrible battlefield ratios & throwing tactics & common tactical sense out of the window. Why slap an 18 rating on a game clearly made for children?
Whilst it’s a game and obviously they mostly stray from realism, got the vibes from the trailer alone this would be VERY unrealistic given the setting and supposed story. I pretty much gave up as soon as Pantheon was revealed to be a multi-national group with access to a lot of hardware that somehow the US had barely any Intel on. Maybe it’s some bias coming out but as a Brit, I feel like the opportunity of a SCUD hunting mission with SAS and Delta Force was missed. As someone already pointed out, this seems like a Fast and Furious movie nowadays where they’ve strayed too far from the original plot line which was actually interesting.
