Big Flounder (DOORMATS) and Speckled Trout Fishing on the Eastern Shore, VA.

Fishing over at Kiptopeke State Park on the Eastern Shore of Virginia is one of favorite spots as I have been fishing there since I was a kid. We got on some nice flounder by the legendary concrete ships. Hope you guys enjoy.

Nice fish.
Love fishing off of Occohannock, Nassawadox, Hungers, the cell, cabbage patch, the flats, and tubes.
Always something nibbling around the V ships at Kiptopeke. . Flounder, striper, weakfish, drum, blues, cobia, permit -- always a good day.
Nothing like emptying the pots behind the house steaming up and picking blue crab while enjoying some oysters and a cold one, and having fresh crab stuffed flounder on the back porch overlooking the bay ( with T41 & 42, the old degaussing area buoys winking at us)
Love it on the bay or off the coast into the Atlantic. Just never know what is on the end of the line. Maybe even see a dolphin, big ray, or turtle basking on top of the water.

Get yourself a power troll, and 16oz bell sinkers and troll 1.5 mph between the cell and channel marker 42 and catch more and bigger fish in a few months...

Thanks for watching. This was filmed last October. Flounder bite is strong there in the fall time! Summer is too but heat can slow it down sometimes
