    Thanks for uploading! Great to hear a demo that's not loaded with overdrive.
    Exactly the color top, and back that I'm gunning for - beautiful. Have done the factory tour; they're absolutely obsessed with perfection.
    Enjoy! And btw, really sharp playing!

      You're welcome and thanks for the kind words! I know it's soaked in reverb but I just wanted to plug in and play and not mess with it at all. Yes, PRS is obsessed with perfection - and they're damn good at it!

    Just got a 10-top 594 - WOW 😳 Expensive AF but a whole ‘nother level than my LP Custom. Never thought a guitar could be as well constructed as the 594.

    I have a mid 2000's PRS McCarty, which is slighly different from this model, but still very nice. The fit and finish are impeccable and it has held up very well over the years. Still looks brand new. However, as much as I like it, it still doesn't sound as nice to me as my Les Paul R9. I know they are different guitars, but similar enough that you would think you could get similar sounds out of a McCarty. However, the McCarty always sounds a little thinner and more like a strat. I can't quite get the sounds I want out of it. On the other hand, the intonation is perfect up and down the neck and it sounds very clear and clean. By contrast, the Les Paul doesn't feel as even and consistent and clean and perfect up and down the neck.

    I Just ordered one but i can still change my mind, so I have two questions and hopefully you can answer them. I´m used to playing a Fender Strat just to give a general backround.
    1) Is the neck very thick? Is it easy to play? or does the neck makes it a little bit harder to shread?
    2) How do the LT pickups handle Drive and Distortion? can you still play modern hard rock such as Alter Bridge and Classic Heavy Metal like Iron Maiden etc with the 594?
    Thanks A lot!

    • @gregorglasbruch6917
      @gregorglasbruch6917 5 років тому +1

      The neck is similar to a Les Paul neck, however, a bit asymmetrical, which adds comfort. These pickups can do anything, yes, they rock, don‘t worry.

      I got my 594 6 weeks ago and i`m completely in love with the guitar, it plays beautiful and those pickups can do anything. You can play anything from jazz to metal, the guitar is really worth it! The best PRS core model guitar there is out there in my opinion! Thanks!

      I don't disagree... but I did apologize for that ahead of time... I just wanted to give people an authentic, right out of the box presentation without any production, amp tweaking, dude... i didn't even tune the thing!

    • @NotUrBiz
      @NotUrBiz 7 років тому +3

      I understand, but the thing is, we aren't getting an authentic out of the box experience...you maybe did, in the room, but with that reverb and the camera mic, what we got was a lot less than an out of the box experience. And for god's sake, tune the guitar when you pull it out of the box. Tune the guitar every time you pick it up.

    • @Guitargate
      @Guitargate  7 років тому +2

      Well that's true, but sometimes when you make these videos you just do it quick and dirty. BUT - the reason I didn't tune the guitar is because PRS is adamant that their stuff ships gig ready.. and I wanted to see. And I'll be damned if that thing wasn't ready to play right out of the box.
