Im thinking of trading in my V4 Panigale Speciale for the V4 Streetfighter V4S? How does it compare with rider comfort and the low down torque compared with the Sports version?
Haven’t been able to test ride the Streetfighter yet, but it’ll be more comfortable for sure given the upright bars. However, there’s no wind protection obviously. When I rode the Panigale V4, I was surprised at how good the bubble of wind protection was. So it’s a catch-22 as they say... the Streetfighter will be more comfortable in terms of body position for longer rides, but the wind might wear you out more than it would on the Panigale. You’ll just have to do a demo ride and see how it feels. I can’t wait to get on one once the weather allows here!

It’s got 208hp and weighs around 380 lbs. I think it can go 200mph and you definitely want those winglets for that ride lol.
Still, I don’t quite understand why one would want to go so fast on a naked bike without any wind protection, but who am I to judge insanity? 😆
@@ilmostro16 Well, I love getting my FZ-09 maxed out at 145 at times, and it feels fine to me. I'm seriously considering placing an order for the V4S with the Akra exhaust.

@@ilmostro16 Hmmm interesting. Maybe it's just another Ducati shop that posted similar pictures on the sub reddit. They seem awfully close.
Winglets on a naked bike is like touring tires on a Panigale. The ingenior who works on it didn't want them, but the companie said it will be a marketing influence :( Very bad look those wings. the real down effect of those is good at 270 k/h and the bike ride max at 280 k/h
Downforce exists at all speeds. There’s more at higher speeds, less and lower speeds, but always some at any speed. That’s how aerodynamics works and why your hand gets lift even at 60mph on the highway when you hold it like a wing. There’s zero doubt that the winglets provide more front end stability on this bike and Ducati knows what it’s doing. If someone doesn’t want that, they can remove them for a cleaner look.

No this is the new Streetfighter V4 which has about 30hp more and weighs less 😉
