- Welcome to my knitting podcast in English 🤎!
Oops .... I made a mistake with uploading ... but this is the right version. In English!
I'm coming to you from the Netherlands so excuse my Dutchy English. I enjoy all the inspiration in the worldwide knitting community so much. I would love to share my 'handwerk perikelen' (also known as crafty adventures) with you.

Liefs,
Sarah 🧶
Sarah in her new knitted vest, riding her bike, through the countryside, in the sunshine, with her dog in a basket through her beautiful country…now that is heart jumping. Thanks for the fantastic video
Love the body warmer. The embroidery makes it look individual. The views of your outing are interesting and relaxing. Thank you. 🇬🇧
What a great episode! I had a very tiring and draining weekend and watching your episode refreshed my soul. I love seeing you bike with your dog and getting to see the scenery. Thank you!
Perfectly chosen and appropriate music for the bike ride wth the sweetest dog ever! Thank you for taking time to choose them.
Sarah, thank you so much for sharing your life and makes with us all. I love your dutchy-english and am always impressed with just how fluent you really are. That bike ride at the end was FABulous! I'm so envious of your locale 🌳and I absolutely love your pup 🐶❤You really are so talented and seem to know your personal style so well. Oh yeah, I also love your hair!!!
I like listening to the Dutch version after I watch the English version if I have time...thinking I might learn Dutch. Today I switched, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I understood! Any version of Sarah is a wonderful way to start the day 😊💜. Today my favorite part was your dog in the bike basket though! What a heart jumping clip🌷🌞thanks for all the happiness you bring our way!
It sounds like you could try a new (sharper)needle in your sewing machine. Your podcasts are a lovely part of my day. Take good care.
I enjoyed this episode so very much! Your dog in the basket out on an adventure is the cutest! 🥰 I think I'm all caught up and can say I've watched every episode available. So fun. ❤
Love your bike riding with the pup !! ❤
Sarah, so much fun to watch those little doggie ears in the bicycle basket.😻
Lovely vlog, Sarah. It looks like you live in such a beautiful area! Your vest turned out adorable and your blanket is stunning! 🌸🌼🌺🌻
Hello Sarah, your wooly tattoos are lovely, thank you for the trick for crochet blankets. I wish you lovely holidays, sunny but not too much sun for you 😂
Sarah, its a joy to watch your podcast, I am so happy to have found you and all your heart jumping crafts. I live in Australia and I loved the music too, it reminds me of Keith Urban an Australian artist who is married to Nicole Kidman. ❤
Great tip about edging the blanket! 👍👍👍🤎🤎🤎
Loved the bike ride & Music at the End, it was exhilarating 🤎🐕🚴♀️ Your Body Warmer is So 70s Beautiful. I Will miss you when you go on holiday...Thank You Sarah 🤎
Yes thank you for giving us an English version. You are good for our health! Lovely and calming.
If the fabrics are very fine, you may need a very fine sharp needle. It’s amazing what a new needle does 😊
Morning Sarah ❤ hope you have a lovely holiday with your family! Thank you for all your lovely podcasts 😊 ❤
99% of the time when my sewing machine is unhappy, putting in a brand new needle makes her happy again.
I’m very excited for the K2P2 event, my husband and I plan to travel by ferry and train for the weekend, from The Midlands of the UK. If your machine is still playing up, there are a couple of things that might make a difference, a new needle even if you haven’t broken the old one often helps and if you remove the bobbin plate and use a soft brush to clean out all the lint and dust. I have been a sewist for many years and I have taught dressmaking and you would surprised how much difference doing those things will make and your machine will thank you kindly for it! Bobbi looks so cute in the bike basket and she is so good sitting still. Have a heart jumping day til tomorrow’s chat! ❤
Hello Jane, I live in Midlands too! 😊 how exciting you get to go to the festival!! I would have to drag my husband to convince him to go 😅
@@Kimsgardencare my husband would never go to the festival, he was just going to travel to Breda with me!
@@janeybeasley9525 have fun!
Adorable!!!😊
Hi Sarah! I listened to your dutch version and was happy that I understood quite a lot. In two weeks we will be visiting the NL ❤, looking forward to it. You always have such inspiring projects! Have a great summertime ☀️
Oh, how we love you. ❤
Thanks for the English version!!!
Sorry, I am from Germany and my English is not so good. I love your Podcast and sewing. When I heard your machine, I think the needle is bodkin and/ or the machine need a cleaning from the lint. I wish you luck. Have a nice day Petra
Thank you for showing the crochet border tip Sarah. Your Prague blanket is divine!
It's definitely a bodywarmer. The most useful garment for Brtish summers, particularly this year!
I love the doggie bike ride! I miss the NL from my visit so thank you for the lovely countryside videos and of course the lovely crafting. 🎉
thank you Sarah I am so happy to have found your videos . hugs Beth
If your sewing machine stitches are messy on the top then the problem is the bobbin. If the stitches are messy on the underside then the problem is the top. Make sure you are using the same thread for top and bobbin. Make sure the needle is threaded front to back and not twisted. Check the tension because gauze needs a lighter tension. Check that the bobbin in correctly. Get a little brush and clean the dust out in the bobbin case. Be sure to change needles because they wear out. Check that the spool on top is correct and threaded properly. Hope that helps!
What a beautiful bike ride and your puppy is so good about riding in your basket. Thanks for a great video
Delightful video today Sarah ❤ i was so taken with watching the ending on your bike ride with Bobbie. I really enjoy seeing little pieces of your town. I did notice that beautiful old two story house on the left just as you entered the park/forest. I love the beauty of old buildings.
Sarah your videos are wonderful thank you. The countryside is amazing and I always wonder how you manage to film and navigate your bike. My younger brother and his family live in the Netherlands too. ❣️
I loved your songbird skirt so much that I bought the pattern. I.m very intimidated by it and haven't stuck the pattern pieces together yet.
We call large towels for swimming “beach towels”. Love the wooly tattoos!
I don’t really like sewing pieces of my knitting together so I sometimes use my crochet hook and join the pieces with slip stitches and it’s perfect. It uses more yarn but is stretchy and so much faster. Give it a try.
Is this the towel for the beach? In Canada we would say beach towel. This would be different than the bath towel used in the home for shower or bath. To dry the dishes in the kitchen would be the dish towel. Thank you Sarah for your video.
Thank you.
Always a wonderful episode! Thank you for the bike ride, I wonder how far is your ride to the woods to walk with your dog 🐶!?
💚🧶💚
Might not be your sewing machine, some fabrics need a little adjustment to sew well on finer fabrics.
Maybe yr machine needs a service?? If it has an issue and you just keep sewing, you might cause damage to the parts so I'd take it to a sewing service centre. Just like a car, it needs to be maintained.
Hi Sarah. Thank you for the english version again, i was like @katiafield9640 when i say i am seriously thinking about learning the Dutch language and was pleasantly surprised to find I understand many words you used. Much love ❤❤❤
