Crazy that he mentioned Accuphase. Prior to that I was going to comment on how Vitus and Accuphase are the two aspirational brands for me. Unbelievable attention to detail and a uniquely wonderful aesthetic! Great minds think alike.
I’m a retired engineer in aerospace industry that very much appreciates simple and ordered design approach. While pcb’s are the best, most reliable approach in avionics application, it doesn’t belong in very high end audio. I understand why it’s done in large volume production but at the very high end, ptp wiring should always be the optimal choice. Nothing wrong with clean and orderly but when I pull the cover off a $150k Boulder amp or preamp and I see a series of pcb’s connected by cheap ribbon cable, I’m wonder if I’m looking at an amp or a $1000 Dell computer🤦♂️. If I were the engineer of this product, I would be less than proud of that unit, relative to its price. My Wavac 805 amps are priced similarly, every component is hand wired. The only pcb in my CAT SL1 preamp is the outboard power supply.
Fantastic setup, gorgeous products, outstanding sound! 🔥🔥🔥❤️ Thanks for sharing, Jason 🙏🏼
Thx for taking time for us - much appreciated 🙏

Many thanks for your detailed coverage.
I personally wouldn’t put a single product from any of those brands as aspirational. Different strokes for different folks 🤷♂️

Have you ever compared the Vitus R101 MKII to the Constellation Inspiration 1.0?
I'm not getting the brand of the difusors. Anybody knows?
