Naat is recited to praise Prophet Muhammad PBUH. It is recited both with or without music. It helps express love to the Holy Prophet. It's an old tradition and people love to listen to naats anytime, anywhere. Whether they're alone or others are with them. Especially, on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's birthday, people hold gatherings and recite naats. Also, Medina is a city in Saudi Arabia where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH is buried. He migrated from Makkah to Medina at the age of 53 when the idolaters of Makkah made is difficult for him to stay at his birth place and spread the message of Islam.
As you listening this is right way. When we go to Madinah, our heart does not want to return, it is a desire to live in the city of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his love increases.
Madina is the city in Saudi Arabia where prophet Muhammad pbuh is burried In this naat the poet is describing his feelings when he will be able to visit Madina and also his imagination when he is physically there
It brought me to tears 😢 answering your question. Such a song is more spiritual so this would be listened alone to get your mind either in a spiritual thought or out of mental dilemma and search of a spiritual solace what other upbeat songs of human love and human friendship that would be more enjoyable to share it with others out of celebration in music I guess it's celebration of connection an enjoying company United by music it's amazing how it totally moves your emotions depending on Beat❤ Medina that he's referring to in the song, is the city where the mosquebAl Masjid an Nabawi where Prophet Muhammad's grave is in Saudi Arabia so the reference is the place and it's soulful relevance and importance to those who love prophet Muhammad peace be upon him ❤ as feeling sad and happy at the same time this is a feeling that every Muslim feels when they're there in the mosque or even just thinking of prophet Muhammad the sadness of him not being around us with his blessings and the happiness that we have him in our hearts loving him dearly ❤
Naat is a way to express our love to prophet Muhammad PBUH. There is no limitations for listening you can listen whenever or wherever just be respectful it can be heard alone or with people we even use to say naat and recite Quran before starting any formal event just to have blessings or we at times listen naat when we are with our friends (you mostly have one friend whose voice is amazing)
Naat doesn't make you feel sad or happy it's just that when you understand the words it takes you to some different phase at times bring tears but those are not out of happiness or sadness they could be due to love or feeling of being blessed or sometimes you can't even explain what your feelings are It also depends on how the feelings are expressed by writer and the singer. One more thing naat is written by a person it could be about qualities of Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم or some events from Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم life etc so your emotions while listening to naat mainly depends on what it narrates
When Ali Zafar saying we will go alone and lost there so no one can contact us means we want to explore ourself spiritually and make our relationship strong with Allah and prophet so worldly sorrows can't hurt us . We by nature inclined towards our creater and the people who follow the right path that is the psychology behind . This world is temporary so we all know in our heart that we are totally meant to spend life all time for this world rather than we need to be prepared for the life hereafter as well
This is the conversation between two people. One who just visited Madina and the other who is longing for the same thing. One who is longing for this journey is asking the other to not tell his story otherwise he will burst into tears. And you get both feelings while listening to this Naat sad and at the same time happy. If u believe that the prophet Muhammad PBUH is the messenger of Allah and u long to visit his graveyard in the holly city of Madina u do get mixed emotions after listening to this Naat
In this poetry , poet is longing to visit the city of Medinah the second most sacred city in Islam after Makkah.listening to it makes us sad as it revokes desire in us also to visit Medinah
We believe that no one can go to Makkah and Madina, unless they are invited by Allah SWT. It's mean if any one is getting chance to go their, it's because of the Allah's mercy as Allah has selected them to come there!
As Godﷻالله Almighty always praise to His beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ So as we muslims have no specific time limitation to listen to Naat(praise of prophet Muhammad ﷺ) .
My bro,in Pakistani schools ( except in Christian's ) everyday while an assembly is conducted in morning, naat is the 2nd most important thing (after recitation of quran).. although there's no fix time to listen it..its part of our religion islam.i love prophet Muhammad SAW. Alhamdulillah
We listen to and recite Naat in love for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. We express our love to him. In solitude and sometimes in gatherings We offer devotion❤
During ramadan I'd suggest to react to naats and more religious content as people try not to listen to songs etc which is what you said at the beginning so its good that you get it
Naat is poetry written in praise of the love of the Prophet Muhammad ( may peace be upon him). Since music is considered forbidden in Islam so mostly naats are in praise of the Prophet.
Its just love for prophet ❤and love doesn't need any time or occasion to express. You can listen it anywhere anytime whenever you like. Madina is the city and the mosque which is masjid e nabwi means the prophet's mosque😢 bcoz he is buried in this area.
The significance of Madinah is that the Messenger established the rule of Islam there, and despite conquering Makkah, his homeland, he chose to die in Madinah. His burial place was his home. Muslim go there to pay respects/homage to him. Our intense love for him makes us yearn for Madinah. It's hard to understand if you're not Muslim.
Please react to Khaliq-e-Kun by Nabeel Shauqat Ali. He comes from a classically trained family and he also won the show Sur Kshetra which was a Indo-Pak competition show between pakistani and indian contestants and he was the winner. Such an honour to pakistan. The show had 2 captains (one of them being ATIF ASLAM and an indian singer) and it had 3 judges. ABIDA PARVEEN, Asha Bhosle (bollywood singer) and Runa Laila who was the neutral judge as she is bangladeshi however her career started and she was popular in Lollywood, which is the Pakistani industry. This was pre the independence of Bangladesh when it was east Pakistan. Sorry for rambling lol ❤
hey...actually it's about the keen desire, every Muslim has, to visit Madina ( a city in Saudi Arabia) once in his life. it is believed that one can go there only if Allah Almighty will. so ultimately poet is imagining himself there and saying I will not come back and die in the street of that sacred place in the end he is telling the visitors of Medina not to tell him the stories about his visit otherwise he will start crying.
As you know the answers to the important questions you mentioned in the video, I would request you to watch the video again to concentrate on the lyrics. I am so hopeful you can feel the same as I do when I listen to such amazing words. I do want to share that the English lyrics have done a good deal of injustice to the feeling of words in Urdu. I hoped you could understand it in Urdu.
Please tell your name. So that I can refer you with your name. This naat is not hypothetical. It's totally in this world. You are feeling very right. We all feel the same way. It is spiritual intelligence which lacks now a days because no one is following the religion. You have spiritual intelligence that's why you are feeling it

Hi,
Naat is the poem to praise our prophet PBUH. We can listen it individually or with a lot of people too. Hope you understand if not ask again.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We listen to naats anytime we want. There are no restrictions of any sort to recite or listen naat however Quran must be touched in ablution.
As Godﷻالله Almighty always praise to His beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ So as we muslims have no specific time limitation to listen to Naat(praise of prophet Muhammad ﷺ) .

Madina is in Saudi Arabia where our prophet spent his last days and burried there which we refer as green minaret
I often Listen to naat or Nasheed when I am alone just recall my Allah and think of eternity...
During ramadan I'd suggest to react to naats and more religious content as people try not to listen to songs etc which is what you said at the beginning so its good that you get it
I pray for u my bro, May Allah invite u to Makkah and Madina 1 day !!
