Look at what Clemson did this year. They played a very young WR group. They actually played them, let them develop on the field. They struggled in the early games, but got better week over week. Sometimes, you just need to play the people you have recruited and see what you have. Can't always say we need to get some experience out of the portal.

We’re taking a step back next year, we need to face facts. We couldn’t win with a mercenary roster this year and we’re nowhere near that next year and we have a much tougher schedule

Waiting for the Spring to land players is not Championship Roster Management. Landing Hill, Baron, etc in the Spring is a major reason they never acclimated into the system.
Matt. CJ Daniels had a significant heel injury yet played the whole season. Satan....I mean Brian Kelly spoke about it and praised CJs toughness and praised his locker room presence. And Kelly doesn't usually heap praises on individual players so I'm hoping that means something. We'll see. I'm expecting him to have a really good year. He had multiple big time schools wanting him still. He chose Miami to play his last year of football. His last chance to get in the NFL. I'm hoping that also means something lol. Something about our offense he saw at practice. 🤞

Didn't you guys say we needed fewer portal players and that the championship teams don't take double-digit portal players? I'm already having a portal hangover. Getting a majority of your starters from the portal isn't the answer.
Florida is all in on their Qb after one year how long Emory has been at Miami and Mario is still undecided about Emory develop the recruits you bring. This is the problem we won more games then Florida blew Florida out but it seem as if Florida program is in better place than our program coaching has to be better period

Fernando Mendoza is not a Miami caliber player!! If he wasn't from Miami nobody would be mentioning him coming to Miami.. You quoted his career stats. In 2024, Mendoza had 16 passing TDs and 6 INTs along with a QBR of 64.2. On another Hurricanes channel. The Podcaster was praising Mendoza and downing CJ Bailey. Bailey, as a true freshman, had 14 passing TDs and 9 INTs with a QBR of 62.2. There's not much difference, which leads to Matt's take of a good, but not great, QB. Secondly, whose fault is it that we don't know much about Emory's development. A piss poor job of getting the backup QB meaningful game reps. Emory needs to play in the bowl game to know whether Maimi needs a transfer QB.
