I've been Pentecostal my whole life & still believe in ALL the gifts, including prophecy. However, I've always questioned why God was only going to bless people if they gave $1,000(or whatever ridiculous amount) because that implies that God is just blessing people with money to give. It's an entitled bullying & blind obedience that gets them what they want from ppl....Spiritual narcissism...Your prophecy & blessing from God is based on how close to the amount asked that you give....Gotta use wisdom, not emotions with giving, I gave so much that my car got repo'd. And most times, the church is not willing to help even though we sow & tithe faithfully. Just gotta trust God cuz you may be on your own if in need.

Reminds me off the time I was a guest musician at a friends Revival at his church. They had a prophet trying to squeeze the last 200 dollars out of the congregation. After 25 minutes of prayers and proclamations I walked over and dropped. The checked they gave me just so we could move on and I could leave. I was never invited back.
Wow I’m so saddened to know of this. I use to hear her name over the years and hear she was a powerful preacher but never heard her sermons. I was a little girl when she gained notoriety. However last month I started getting a lot of her old sermons pushed in my recommended videos. I’ve watched a couple and she was on fire and the Word brought forth was pure. How do things like this happen to the people of God. 😢 I’ll be praying for her.

I remember YEARS ago when I attended church faithfully and I wanted a financial paper for my taxes. I gave over $7,000 in one year. I damn near fell out of the pew not slain by the Spirit but my foolishness. I had a decent job but when I say the struggle was REAL! 😩😩😩😩 So after I stopped reaching for every coin to give I was able to get my own apartment, pay my car note, all my adult bills. I will never have a problem with giving but burdening people with this type of "giving" is shameful.

I already knew to avoid people like this but that gave greater confirmation to me about these religious actors!

My wife said you had to pay for parking for the arena every day weren’t allowed to bring in something as simple as a water bottle. Glad I stayed home and honestly I’m glad she went. This is so disgusting to watch. We are in an economic crisis and some people don’t even have enough to feed themselves. This Haitian pastor was able to raise over 60 million dollars to build a church. Even though the church was built he did a 40 day fast and was still collecting money for the building the minimum was a 1,000 and maximum was 10,000. On top of that he also asked for regular offerings, tithes. My friend told me that him and his family live on of the private islands in Miami where the homes start at 1 million and goes up.

I've been Pentecostal my whole life & still believe in ALL the gifts, including prophecy. However, I've always questioned why God was only going to bless people if they gave $1,000(or whatever ridiculous amount) because that implies that God is just blessing people with money to give. What about the people who lack funds and could actually use a financial "turn around?" This perversion of the gift of prophecy breeds a feeling of inadequacy among the body. It's an entitled bullying & blind obedience that gets them what they want from ppl....Spiritual narcissism...Your prophecy & blessing from God is based on how close to the amount asked that you give....Gotta use wisdom, not emotions with giving, I gave so much that my car got repo'd.
And most times, the church is not willing to help even though we sow & tithe faithfully. Just gotta trust God cuz you may be on your own if in need.

Wow I’m so saddened to know of this. I use to hear her name over the years and hear she was a powerful preacher but never heard her sermons. I was a little girl when she gained notoriety.
However last month I started getting a lot of her old sermons pushed in my recommended videos. I’ve watched a couple and she was on fire and the Word brought forth was pure. How do things like this happen to the people of God. 😢

I remember YEARS ago when I attended church faithfully and I wanted a financial paper for my taxes. I gave over $7,000 in one year. I damn near fell out of the pew not slain by the Spirit but my foolishness. I had a decent job but when I say the struggle was REAL! 😩😩😩😩 So after I stopped reaching for every coin to give I was able to get my own apartment, pay my car note, all my adult bills. I will never have a problem with giving but burdening people with this type of "giving" is shameful.

He went in her hotel prior to her arrival to set up her amenities that were apart of her rider. He turned all hotel keys over to her assistant as she would have her team go in and lay out sheets everywhere 😮 the assistant told her about the amenities in the room and she flipped out so bad she refused to complete the engagement and kept the church’s money leaving their attendees to suffer. I already knew to avoid people like this but that gave greater confirmation to me about these religious actors!

And only turned it back on when my wife prompted me to check something out. Giles even asked for a 250 dollar seed. It seemed like after everyone spoke they was looking for an offering. My wife said you had to pay for parking for the arena every day weren’t allowed to bring in something as simple as a water bottle. Glad I stayed home and honestly I’m glad she went. This is so disgusting to watch. We are in an economic crisis and some people don’t even have enough to feed themselves. This Haitian pastor was able to raise over 60 million dollars to build a church. Even though the church was built he did a 40 day fast and was still collecting money for the building the minimum was a 1,000 and maximum was 10,000. On top of that he also asked for regular offerings, tithes. My friend told me that him and his family live on of the private islands in Miami where the homes start at 1 million and goes up.
