@Eve82 the whole point of grunge is its meant to be kinda gross, messy AND CHEAP. any grunge/kinderwhore person ive ever spoken to, (including me, and my parents who were teens in the 90's) have said that unless they desperately want something that they cant find, they thrift all their clothes and refuse to buy it new.
@Eve82 the stuff you bought new in the 90's is probably the stuff we're thrifting now, im not saying you have to thrift im just saying that its quicker and easier NOWDAYS to thrift
It's not necessarily being more basic, but it's probably also because as you get older you become more mature as you find yourself leaning towards styles that are slightly more reserve and longer lasting rather than just fads and trends.
Oohmygod a few years ago i was addicted to your video’s! I can’t believe my (music) style has changed so much, it’s so weird to look back haha. Still love to watch your video’s though! Fijne bevrijdingsdag!😙
I really really love Grunge culture, music and style, but I struggle finding a winter coat that fits with a grunge outfit. I'd like to go out dressed like that during the cold times and a denim jacket is not enough to keep me warm, and I really don't know what to buy
I have a black oversized faux fur coat and it's sooo comfy and warm! It might seem fancy but combined with platform docs/boots, plaid pants of black in general it does have a grungy vibe :)! Mine is thrifted but they are quite common.
So much fun to see. I’m 47 and you showed “my style” in my young days very much spot on. Btw - I still wear my docs and I have a nirvana sweatshirt. I feel it’s my right, cuz I was actually alive when Kurt was (he was Nirvana) 😋 Thank you for the entertainment 😊
Whenever I visit Germany I see way more 'alternative' people then when I'm home (in NL) but maybe that is just coincidence, at concerts everybody comes together tho hah
@@rocknrollerr yaa at conserts there are everywhere interesting people hah. But me as a Rock n Roll fan i just feel lonely because there is nobody to talk about the favorite bands or to philosophize about kurt cobain.
I missed your styling videos sooooooo so much ! I started following you because of the lookbooks you used to make !!!!! 🤩🖤
Thanks for still being here :D!
Rock n Roller And I’m not planning on leaving ! I still love following you ! ❤️

Snap pants & the "skirt pants" were also very popular.
Damn this really just makes me wanna drop everything and go to the thrift store right now.
Ikr 😵💫
(It’s currently almost 1 am for me)
The Doc Marten platform boots were really popular back in the early 90s, not just in grunge fashion, but also in the early 90s techno rave scenes.
Grunge is more converse, vans stuff like that.
I love layering, you can hide a plodgyTummy lol
I'm drooling over the guitars in the background 🥺
Almost looks like a kurt cobain mustang.

Yay I’ve missed this kind of content from you! 🖤 your style is amazing

i just wear enough layers to keep me warm so like a turtle neck then a bad shirt then a denim jack then a baggy flannel lol
maybe a leather jacker?

Get a flannel that has fluffy material inside!! I have one and i looove it
There are denim jackets that have sherpa inside.
Your voice is so pretty, I love your accent!

3:20 where can I get a pair of pants like that those are so cool 🤩😆
Brilliant! Thanks! 👍🏻
Love it! ❤💯
Verry niceee. Als je die perfecte blazers hebt gevonden hoor ik het graag. Ben ook nog steeds zoekende😂. Nieuwe bands zijn ook altijd welkom!
Hah, will do! :D
There’s a Great Frog location in Los Angeles, if you’re close you should check it out
Ahh I would love to visit LA someday
Nice!
where are the jackets from?
Like the shoes in the back ground ^^. Thinking about this topic makes me think about my emo/goth phases o.o
Hah the best phases🖤
Omg where are all three jackets that you showed from?
What happened to that other black belt you had, that retro one with the conchos on it? That was a really nice belt.
i love your makeup and do you wear tights with ripped jeans
Thank you! Nah, I don't like layers on my legs, I haven't worn tights in a really long time actually!
as a guy i love to wear black tights with my jeans
are you going to blog about your makeup
I have my dads doc’s which were his concert shoes. They are older than me
That is so cool😄
I like people like you but i never find them. Just everywhere mainstream people in my city. By the way i am from Germany and a guy.

The light blue denim jacket looks best on you, isn't that the one you wore in your previous profile pic?
Do you have any classic rock t-shirts? Like the Rolling Stones mouth logo? G n' R bullet logo or AFD cross?
I thought the clothes on the thumbnail were half black half white checkered overalls
Is that your natural hair colour?? i love it
Yes it is, thank you!!
That was cool
👍🤟🚀
my style is very 90s grunge
ahhh omg are you dutch?! 🥺
Yes :)))
I’m sorry but flannel is a material not a pattern. Plaid. Plaid is the word your looking for.
Did you like Garbage, Jenny? Do you listen to their songs? Curious =)
Not true 90s this is the tumblr version of the 90s style. The flannel pattern isn’t 90s
0/10 obviously washed hair
Why all The girl's and boy's are skinny??/ i want that body :(
I can’t afford dr.martinis so ...
