Hey JMo, good luck with the move. Know how moving can impact you life in a positive way, having moved a few times with my husbands job, - Royal Australian Air Force. Love your work! Keep it up.
Cool technique! Inspiring!
I watch your videos as soon as I get the notification. This is amazingly beautiful! I lived in Tucson for 10 years. The heat is different. Always have water or electrolyte drink with you. You don't really sweat, it's a very dry heat so you can dehydrate quickly. I know your journey will be successful. You and your family will be in my prayers.🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much Emma! I will keep those tips you gave me with you! Have an amazing week
I was born and raised in Tucson! Did you ever go to Arizona Sonora Desert Museum or downtown El Charro restaurant?
You're amazing!!
So cool, l love it. Gonna have to try it ❤
I love your work man.
Please keep producing more art. You've grown so much. 😊
I will keep on creating! Thank you so much!
Excellent job bro!!
Thank you for answering my mddy chameleon cell problem!
No problem at all, did it help you?
@@JMoPainting yes, it did.
Good luck with your move! I live in Tucson so not too far. Love your work!
I love your videos 💜
Very nice!
I love this! 10:19
Is that a patriot bracelet you wear?! My son was Navy, and we love and thank all of our sons around the world!
Watching from the UK and have been getting a lot of inspiration from you. The cool colours in this one are so beautiful and ethereal after you spun it. Fantastic!
Thank you so much Kathleen!
Absolutely stunning work as always 👏👏👏
Thank you so much!
I love watching you and listening to you work. Your enthusiasm is infectious and your vids brighten my day.
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me!! Have a great week!
Beautiful!!! Love the colours ❤
Thank you so much!
That was amazing!!! Can’t wait to try it. I just moved states 2 weeks ago… haven’t gotten my studio set up yet, & I am dying to to paint!!! It’s been about 5-6 weeks since I have been able to pour anything 💔💔💔💔 I hope you can get yours set up faster
Gorgeous!
Welcome to Arizona
WOW
A humidifier will help in your Phoenix studio and if possible shut your direct ac vent and open a door to have light air from another room....i used to paint in tuscon, and its a different kind of heat. Youll adjust.
wow!
Gorgeous 😍. I learn so much from your videos. I was wondering if you have any videos on the color wheel or how you pick yoir colors? I have watched many videos on how to use a color wheel, but still not getting it. The way you explain things make it easier to understand the technique. Thank you so much for all the videos you share.
I don’t have any videos on color theory but that is one I should do. I like monochromatic color schemes or complementary colors with a good color to add contrast normally a white or black. But I will make a video on this because it would be helpful for a lot of us
@@JMoPainting Thank you so much..
This is incredible! Those cells! OMG 💙💛
Welcome to Arizona... Tucson would have been better 😂 about 5-10 degrees "cooler".
Thank you for the warm welcome literally! 😂 I can’t wait to get there!
You could use the clear crystal to go around the fire amd the blue
amazing piece! well done
Thank you so much!
Why Phoenix? I know you are hearing how hot it is there, and it is, but the humidity is so low that the heat doesn’t feel the same. You’ll love it!
I love the scenery! Thank you so much!
😍🔥
Thank you so much!
How are u J MO hope ur doing well to. All the best for moving to Phoenix.
This was really cool! It would be interesting to see how this effect plays off of a plain background - a black or white and then the colours poured on like you did with these hot colours. If you get a large canvas maybe you can do a few different colour combo straight pours. For example a solid black base and then go through with a cup that has 2/3 different red shades Layered with white and create some of the design. Then take another cup and pour 2/3 shades of orange layered with white, then greens, blues, violets etc - see what kind of rainbow/gradient-y cells you'd get on their own and when the ribbons cross? If you don't want to do so many cups maybe do 3? One red, orange, yellow and white (like here) one yellow, green, /turquoise and white and the last turquoise, pthalo blue, violet and white? You could add some Magenta to cups 1 and 3 so the whole rainbow blends together. If you like the result on black background try it on white! There's so many different ways you could play with this idea! I may have to give it a try too!
That sounds like an amazing idea! I will try this out, thank you so much for inspiring me!!
@@JMoPainting Any time 😊 It's only fair as you've inspired me with your videos! Can't wait to see how this works out.
That’s so crazy how the silicone reacted to the blues. Love it!
Hey ! I live in Phoenix and hope you do some in person classes ! Would love to paint with you !
That is all part of the plan I can’t wait to paint with y’all!!
When using mica powders, do you just mix into pouring medium?
Это замечательная идея! Но я бы попробовала сделать в виде цепочки ДНК, тогда думаю получилось бы ещё круче! Спасибо!
What happens with out med or silicone
Will you have to consider the changes in temperature with regards to the speed your paintings will dry? Can it cause more potential for cracking?
Temperature can and does definitely play a big role in both the painting process and the drying process as I (a beginner to fluid art) have learned first hand recently! 😂 My first real pour, we had a random cold snap overnight (I am in the UK and this was early/mid spring so it was reasonably warm and I had my window open a touch.) I left the window open overnight as I had done when I did my practice pieces and the temp dropped slightly which caused a little bit of cracking - luckily it ended up being a space/galaxy theme so I wanted to resin it and the cracks are only tiny ones so the resin should make them completely vanish.
More recently we've been having some abnormally high temps here. The last couple of times I have tried to pour I have had massive trouble getting the paint to move on the canvas. The heat thickened them up so fast (I was doing a Dutch Bloom - in the style of Rinske Douna so the paints were mixed thinly) and the combination of the torch/heat gun, the weather and the blow dryer just made the paint so thick it was a struggle to get it to move at all even with the dryer on full blast (wind wise) and with spinning the heck out of it.
So yeah, he's probably going to have a bit of a learning curve but it shouldn't take him too long to figure it out. We all have to adjust to where we live and the temps/humidity etc where we are.
Yeah more than likely will have to get a humidifier and keep the room temperature controlled, but I’ll roll with it and be back up and running in no time! Thank you so much!
@@Littlewings1211 I’m in England too x
@@kayedwards did you struggle with the heat recently? I couldn't believe how much these paints thickened, it was crazy! Much cooler now although I haven't had chance to play since the temp dropped so fingers crossed I can get some done soon, I have most of my paints mixed up and so many ideas flying around my brain! 😂
@@Littlewings1211, I’ve been pouring for several months and had my first successful one last week. 🥳 Admiring the masterpiece the next morning, I saw patterns of what looked like a little bird had attempted to walk circles across the canvas. I’d never thought of rainy conditions, which is silly come to think of it, as I live in Wales. 😅 Thank you so much for pointing out humidity levels.
Will you be giving lessons in Phx?
I will be as soon as I get everything lined up! I am so excited to paint with y’all!
9:23 YOU COULD CREATE OCTOPUS LEGS!!
I sure hope you don't run into the flooding from flash floods.
I hope not! But we will deal with anything that comes at us and be back to painting in no time!!
When you do your tiles I notice you have a lot of paint on your spinner why don’t you do dips in the spin offs as they look great and ashamed to lose them
