I remember watching these vids back in the day. I was completely unaware how big your channel blew up. Congrats. And man, I miss the precovid nyc so much.
I'm kind of scared to watch the older vlogs. I subbed to you under 1k when you just started and was at a very bad headspace and stressful time of my life, so your 2014 weekly vlogs were all I looked forward to and the channel back in the day was kind of my safe space. I remember studying chapers of books and then taking a break to watch you vlogs. Some nights I'd be studying overnight at overnight cafes, then pause to watch your vlogs after you've uploaded a new video.I was just a student at that time, and struggling with uni and studies. I used to envision myself as someone working and living life in New York! Haha Amazing how far you've come! As for me today, I've graduated and now an Occupational Therapist! I have also moved to Melbourne. Stressful time of my life still LOL but new challenges!

Dear Erik, I would like to start this 2022 simply by showing you all my gratitude. You wonder, why? Because your videos have encouraged me a lot in some moments of my life. When I was alone for work away from home I saw just these videos of yours and those of your life in New York and they gave me a lot of positive energy to move on and not get discouraged. They are videos that have a nice message that I really believe in: visualize what you want so it will manifest. The idea of this channel is very nice. The really funny thing is that in a few hours you have reached a number of subscribers higher than my channel which has been active for a couple of years! 🤣🤣(maybe my content isn't that good). This shows that you understand what people want and you know how to invest your time well. That's all. I wish you a good life and a great 2022, with all my gratitude (sorry for English but I'm Italian)
