Just got one of these for my birthday a few weeks back and I thought the same that the manual was light on info. I knew I had a great product, but I also knew I would need some assistance to get the most out of it. Then along comes my favorite disc golf youtuber to grant my very wish, Excellent video!
One thing I noticed from the video and I think is a great feature is that the case doesn't fully open. The straps on the inside only allow it to open enough to get the Parsec out. That will stop it from falling out and potentially damaging it if it opens by accident

The Catalyst was on my radar and I started shooting a review but I sort of fell out of love with it recently. Switched to the Wave and found it to be more fun. Probably won't be doing any driver reviews for a while anyway. Still struggling with shoulder injury. Hoping to do a putter video and mid ranges in the coming weeks and slowly working back up to the big boy discs.

Would the golf distance be possible to update later when they figure it out?
It looks like the Micro USB port is for charging only. So I might be wrong but it doesn't look like the firmware is upgradeable.

Yeah, but it's only for charging. Sure USB-C would be better but I still have heaps of Micro USB devices that need charging so no big deal.
