Looks mint pal 👌 I get those dry patches on the lawn but when we moved in I had to terrace the garden so part of the lawn is only on an inch or so of soil, on the boarders I had to use a lump hammer and bolster to dig holes for plants, I kid you not.

Looks very nice. The cylinder mower does a lovely cut. Probably needs a light rake to bring the horizontal growth up so you can mow it out. Like the double width stripes

Yeah I agree with ghosthunter there is probably something under that patch as same happened my side. Just get a garden fork or a spike of sorts and drive it into the ground to see if you hit anything.

I will, il let you guys know if I hit anything. I’ve got a lantern on a hook that I stick into the ground sometimes you it’s a struggle to get in for all the stones under the ground. When they build these houses they leave all the rubble and turf over it.

@@unionjack100980 yeah that lantern stick should do the job seeing if there is anything hiding under the turf. Keep us posted.

why aren't u collecting the grass

Hi, sometimes I do sometimes I don’t it depends on length of grass because if I’m not cutting much off and the clippings will mulch down and provide nutrients for the lawn especially if I’ve put fertiliser on the week before. I would bag if I had got weeds otherwise I would be spreading weeds all over the lawn and that would worsen the problem 👍
