- Saas Almagell lies in Switzerland and is a wonderful village in the Wallis and Saas Valley, surrounded by impressive four-thousand-metre peaks of the Valais Alps.
The village lies at the very back of the Saas Valley and is the smallest of the four Saas Valley villages (Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund and Saas-Balen). The village is located at 1670 m above sea level.
Saas Almagell is the home village of Swiss skiing legend Primin Zurbriggen, who is one of the most successful ski racers of all time.
