Some OSB sheets are imperial and some are metric. Up here at my local yard in Scotland, they do 9mm metric and 11 and 18mm imperial. Imperial boards I either rip to size or space walls at 16inch centres which lands them perfectly 👍🏽

same down south isle of wight it depends who makes it , European metric and imperial Canada/USA

8ft is 2.44 and 4ft is 1.22 hence the extra few mill
